  1. Good inference though, here ^ If teams were asking for Savoie, we were “in” on some bigger fish
  2. The original Muel, ftr But unlikely. Franzen was a playoff beast
  3. Hagel was a great pick though! It’s not like he forced Botterill to hate CHL players Murray was a reasonable drafter imo
  4. You know how they say a car loses half it’s value once it’s driven off the lot? The Mystery Box always has a level of appeal. “Rasmus Asplund is Rasmus Asplund, but a draft pick could be anything! Even Rasmus Asplund!” This isn’t the logic KA used here but I’m using it to illustrate the fact that, often, draft picks have more value left unopened
  5. It should be noted that the biggest loss in this deal is @Doohickie’s meme KA, today ^
  6. I think so too, and this is pretty salient. He seemed to fall out of favour with DG, both teams probably trying to do that same thing, here. Both caught in a system non-preferable to their talents I think I was referring to Asplund as Larsson light last year
  7. My posts are roulette when it comes to that, eh? Lol yes jk. No.
  8. Good add
  9. KA should have held out for Future Considerations, imo
  10. JVR stays
  11. Will this upset the room HOW WELL LIKED WAS ASPLUND I need to know
  12. It’s important to remember. The escape hatch to the “no sacrificing the future!” lingo people understandably get tired of remains the fact we can (and do) trade from our Futures Pool under the prism of the new additions also aiding said future
  13. WC arms race has begun with 10 mins left greenway....JVR... who's on the move next greenway the shot heard round the WC world lol
  14. Too bad he Tim Murray'd out by dealing 2 draft picks amirite
  15. Personally, I think it's more likely to positively affect this season than next. He's a reasonable player and he'l be in the mix for a depth role next season, but I'd guess the message to the team might play kinda well, here
  16. Well, there were reports Adams was "lurking in the weeds", right? These are the kind of value deals you see under that umbrella
  17. agree. very principled. the Batman of GMs, I guess Im good with the strategy. The proof is in the pudding - as long as the results are trending the way we want, my only conclusion can be that his process is leading to significantly more good decisions than bad. Of course, the expectations change next season it'll be interesting to see what Adams feels he needs to do this summer to ensure our trend line continues in the way it needs to We got him? We got Matt Irwin Jordan Greenway?
