  1. Consistently have the runs Actual answer ACTUAL actual answer. F*ck it still f*cking sucks Finishing near the bottom! Good one This.
  2. I’m not sure. Logically it makes sense but when you look at good teams, they almost invariably have a good C spine. And not, “oh well their wings are good”. Ya know? Centre has always been the magic sauce in the nhl. If I’m looking at a 1-2 spine of Norris and Kulich (dear lord)..I’m not seeing a lot of traditional playmaking there and my spidey sense is honestly tingling, here. Could be wrong but.. Norris Kulich …at the risk of 15 years? Ehh Neither of those 2 invokes close to confidence at 1 (Ottawa probably rolls their eyes and laughs if it’s Norris: I guarantee you they don’t feel they traded us a 1C) and tbh Kulich at 2 seems absurd given the reasons Adams has failed in past I think it’s probably fair to say that if the fanbase isn’t looking at the roster in fall 2025 and saying “that’s a playoff team”, it’s a grievous insult to said fans. Surely, surely the bar with a 6th straight miss on the line is at least that
  3. He probably mentioned it when Adams when to him to clear dealing cozens Ftfy
  4. A stated priority that wasn’t even borne out in the operation in good faith There’s absolutely smoke. It’s the same as early Eichel
  5. That’s the only apt response for someone like him who does know so much. Willingly obtuse in this case, I can only imagine One player plays 25% of the game and probably touches the puck a fraction josh Allen touches the ball on every play The mathematics are extreme enough that it’s easily understandable why, if you are bad enough, one player in their limited ice time can’t buoy a whole team WE LOST 13 STRAIGHT WITHOUT HIM
  6. Today is the turning point Where one end of the tank turns over the other
  7. Well said That’s where the other argument goes off the rails. “Cozens will never become that guy” makes sense as a prediction, backed by stats. But “oh and if he does it doesn’t matter” is bullshite obviously lol
  8. Every team has a guy like Benson, several times over. It’s not that he isn’t good for a 19 year old, it’s that the fact he stands out SO MUCH FROM THE REST OF OUR TEAM that’s the problem
  9. You are going 180 the other way, though. He struggled here. A lot of that was our own doing. The environment we create, sucks.
  10. They had a 10 gamer in 2018. But maybe that counts differently cause of OT wins or something or maybe you were searching for literal 7 gamers
  11. This is going to sound an awful lot like “cope” if DC keeps producing. Relax, man
  12. But at least we won’t get embarrassed by any player we ship out. As long as we avoid that, I can take another few years of missing
  13. Ya, just wait! They’ll see! The Sabres are the smart ones
  14. .. No, because Norris has never played more than 60 odd. You have to ASSUME he misses 25% of the season. Norris as the 1C (come ON. Yes, Ottawa just traded us their 1C. Teams do that.) and a fledgling Kulich as our top 6 Cs would be a farce. WORSE than KA’s normal
  15. If it’s not Misa who truly seems to be somewhat special, I wish there was somehow a value trade available for the pick. I just really don’t think adding more youth unless in exceptional cases is going to help this team any time soon right now and time needs to be considered of the essence: as if it shouldn’t have been a long time ago, now Misa does seem like a potential game breaker
  16. Could be a lot of Bernier there We should also be prepared for the fact he’s a pretty good hockey player
  17. A) the primary goals being keeping the roster young and cheap could be a potential answer ie we have a conflict of interest as fans with management right now B) another potential scenario is Adams is enamoured with exactly what he says: long term success. And is frustratingly, i’d personally argue pig-headedly disinterested in “merely” fielding playoff teams. - because if he’s not lying up at the podium (suggested scenario 1), and he’s not telling the truth (option 2), that leads to option 3 which is the incompetence you speak of which would be so extreme it legitimately seems to be the 3rd most likely of our scenarios
