  1. Selkie voting thus far, by fans Some notable names among the top 10
  2. 49ers..there’s intrigue there for sure
  3. Leading their division! I’d have zero issue at all picking Tampa in any playoff game head - to - head vs the unproven NFC masses. Yes. Mike freaking McCarthy is gonna out duel TB12 in a playoff game. I’m a packer fan - I know this is a statistical impossibility.
  4. I don’t THINK the they’ll win the NFC but picking between the rest of the nfc teams is a crap shoot, who do you pick? Dallas? I’m not sold on philly at all. Minnesota? Lol. I’ll sooner take my chances on Tom. The “it” factor Tom brings in the playoffs is indisputably real at this point obviously, when your entire team believes it will win, that sort of confidence matters in final-possession type games and the games are so often that.
  5. True. To me Mahomes still looks like The Guy though. Easy to default to the QB come playoff time Im not dunce enough to count out the bucs, for this same reason. If they get in, and they will cause their div sucks, that’s a tough out. Give me the bills, chiefs and bucs and I’ll relinquish the field
  6. Brutal. It’s 2022 in the nfl - time of possession / last possession is key. Even if they had scored the TD there was too much time for Allen Awful decision full stop
  7. Oh darn I was all ready to respond with, “laugh it up, fuzz ball!” - - - I dunno what the hell happened to me but Attack of the Clones is growing on me over time. So much of my rankings though of the 3 series I love, Harry Potter lord of the rings and Star Wars come down to the particular mood I’m in when I watch am individual film. Ever shifting, I suppose it’s splitting hairs for me at times. But if you are in the right mood, Anakin’s pursuit into Tusken territory is strikingly poignant and “..but by our skills with a lightsaber” is riveting.
  8. That decision by the lions to go deep on 3rd and 1 was among the worst coaching decisions I’ve seen Even just look at the rest of the NFL. Dunno if any team is truly scary outside the Chiefs. Teams look great one week and awful the next. Bills will have as good a shot as anyone and a better shot than most if they get in reasonably healthy
  9. Does it skew even younger than Twitter? Haha
  10. Linked on the main page is a Harrington article containing a quote from Granato about how yesterday’s game, with the debut of the sweaters, had the guys feeling the same vibes as the RJ game last year and other big games like it. Unsurprising to me we saw a great effort yesterday - the team has shown a distinct tendency to bring their “A“ game to the “biggest” games. Continue to be somewhat surprised therefore that the results of the recent Eichel game were so disappointing - it stands out from the others. But, to give the devil his due, in truth Vegas is looking really good so that’s prob a big part of it. Can’t win them all and we were in a down stretch overall at the time Still, I think this team’s particular proclivity for the “big” games is something that bears keeping an eye on
  11. And he did it at 18. He’s still a freak
  12. Game 20, youngest team in the league? Not surprised they had legs tbh particularly considering the sweaters
  13. I suppose to me, they are 🤣
  14. Crazier than Allen by several orders of magnitude imo. Allen was a top 10 pick, TT was borderline not an NHLer two years ago at this time. Literally no one predicted this at that point. No one.
  15. Whenever someone utters their name Hecht I can hear his skates
  16. Don’t see how that makes Samuelsson more important than Dahlin. Removing Dahlin would also slot everyone too high and he’s the better player Dahlin isn’t slotted right if he’s...not in at all. If we could only have one of the two in, it’s Rasmus. in truth it doesn’t look like the lineup as is can afford to lose either
  17. Speaking of which I’m so thrilled they kept Cozens at C. Plenty were thinking he should shift to wing to accommodate a Mittelstadt stay at C. Cozens 6’3, 200 ft of ice impression is made for the middle of the ice
  18. I appreciate the twitter content the official feed puts out a lot now, while at the same time finding/realizing I’ll never be able to fit in with the new school crowd that’s arisen around it. I’m not sure exactly when it happened but Stan Twitter has crossed over yo the NHL: almost all the quote tweets are from those in their early 20s saying things like OHHHHHH OMGGGGG SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP BABY 🥺 - - - 🤣. I’m old.
  19. I’d imagine with the roster as currently constructed, our “no bueno” if we lose ‘Em players are: Dahlin, Thompson, and Samuelsson. It’s possible Tuch is like that and Cozens is closing. But, paradoxically, I think once more than a couple join that group...the group would then actually shrink or cease to exist: the more truly good players we have the better we’ll be able to withstand losing guys
  20. Been thinking the same :
  21. I’m sure he’ll get another shot. At the same time it’s ok to expect plus-performance from a roster player including goalie, if he NEEDS the ideal set up to be a starter, I don’t know if he’s a long term option at said starter position. He’ll have to come in and really string a few quality wins together to turn the tide. I’d like to see it
  22. Ya in the off-season that was the big play with him, unfortunately by that same token though his analytics this year have been not good. Considering he didn’t have an established sample size as a starter and the metrics were all we were betting on, I can’t just dismiss the poor ones thus far still think he gets another shot
  23. Samuelsson’s deal looking like a good one and a pretty slick call to go LT that soon. Probably the correct value sweet spot too, as he appears to have a significant affect on our D and at the same time hasn’t registered a point this season. So, had we waited, I don’t think his deal would have gone up extravagantly as points pay the most, but we certainly saved some and more importantly - the bullseye evaluation is what gives promise
  24. And plenty of starts we hung Andy out to dry. Andy has stood on his head too. Memories are short. Comrie has looked weakest of 3 though
