    The board said he was poor-to-below-average when he played poor-to-below-average and sings his praises when he plays really well and his numbers look really good what am I missing? Is this unexpected?

    If someone said: “they’ll start 10-10-2, but UPL will definitively elevate to starter quality” I’d probably have taken it. We don’t know he’s that, yet, but if he is, we’ll be in a pretty good spot imo to make a good run at it

    -Sabres are on the road -short travel/didn’t play yesterday -UPL in net -trap game for the Rangers in between Boston and Detroit. -mounting statistical evidence that we are a close to a .500 hockey club, that tends to alternate between wins and losses -im biased -82 game season means randomness .. I think the Sabres have a shot today, just like yesterday I said the Bills had a good shot, on the road, even against the league’s best team by record. They did. But the also blew it.
