  1. Listen to your friend Billy RoZane, he’s a cool dude
  2. I’d notice. The interactions on this board are some of what keeps me going. But it’s a good point, I’ll watch when the games are on tv up here but rarely seek out a stream when they are not. Mostly what it’s doing is lowering my interest in the league at large: I’m not the guy putting together trade proposals because I don’t even know all the rosters anymore
  3. It’s starting to feel Frodo-esque. Have been carrying the burden of this “suffering” (thanks, Darcy, that choice of words really helps complete my analogy) for so long, once it’s eventually gone I’m not personally sure at this point if there truly will be any going back. The hurts are starting to go too deep. I’m honestly worried about it. I’m worried about how this franchise makes me feel Ah, well, I’m sure it’ll be fine. Can’t give up.
  4. I hope they got a notification lol
  5. At this point there’s a non-negligible chance we are in a worse spot it doesn’t need to be that way, but human choice is always a massive factor. If Adams continues to choose to operate like this: yes, in my opinion, this is the lowest the franchise has been in my personal memory If we don’t make the playoffs this year, it’ll be, at the very least, 14 years between playoff appearances. That’s a joke - and there’s seemingly zero urgency to sort it out. Cardinal sin I’ve honestly, unfortunately, just had enough of them until they act like the “future” is now
  6. Not anymore. And that team had an 8 game losing streak already
  7. Not experienced. And was a first time GM when we hired him. Also, not a flex. The world isn’t divided into do-nothing Kevyn Adams and the concept of Tim Murray. I like that because Tim Murray made trades, as a poor GM, he’s now sullied trades and taking action for everyone. The issue wasn’t taking action, it’s about who’s making the moves. Having said that, I’d absolutely prefer Tim Murray - just a commentary on Kevyn Adams.
  8. Just hire an experienced retread GM that’ll walk in day one and say “the goal is to make the playoffs and we will do what we need to to make it, starting with me.” I guarantee you it would be better. The most poisonous thing for this franchise right now is taking about Cups. About developing a long term winner. Just focus on the now.
  9. We know the culture is strong because the nicknames never stop It’s been an unbelievably obvious elephant in the room Adams’ entire tenure. You speak the truth- sometimes it’s really the most obvious thing. It’s not just the gaping chasm of a hole, it’s the message it sends and what it’s a symptom of
  10. 9-3 following a loss this season bet blue
  11. The Buffalo Sabres are in 23rd place. There are moves that could help
  12. This is one for me too. My Dad taped it on vcr and had it all set up for me to watch in the morning complete with a note detailing the events
  13. I understand that. I’m more so talking about sitting out in the middle of the ice and impeding the ice cleaning crew as a rookie - - - Moving on, not surprised by his excellent start in Roch. He’s be really good, it’s just not his time at the nhl level. Which was kinda obvious heading in to all but Adams but I digress
  14. Adams tailors messages TO the fans but he doesn’t operate based on what the fans want
  15. Ya watching Kotalik’s goal I remembered how I felt when he scored it. Stuff of legend, man
  16. A goalie that’s appropriately rostered covers for the lapses of his defence in this economy?
  17. It’s a multiverse, not wonderland
  18. What would you say I wonder if I proposed the following idea to you: Consider there are infinite parallel universes (there are)..
  19. I agree with you. I can’t speak for others with a similar mindset to mine, if such creatures exist, but I think the distinction your missing is that 95% of the time when I’m posting things that are “negative” I’m not miserable about it: it’s just what I actually believe, and talking it through is part of what makes it all fun and tolerable are there times where it’s altogether too cranky? Absolutely. Liger mentioned it to me once recently where I went off the rails. Regardless of my belief in the stance I clearly had a “fed up” day because the losing caught up to me. That does happen. Sometime I’ll be unfairly negative. Those are the slip ups, though. We’ve been in the desert such a long time.
  20. Random tangent but I like how there’s sort of a “rebuild cup” between Buffalo Ottawa and Detroit, where we litigate who did their rebuild “correctly” based on which of the 3 is doing the best, and necessarily as such because none of the 3 can be compared relative to the actual NHL
  21. At least it’s not Mittsy. Krebsy. Tuchy. Especially considering the official Sabres media barrage doesn’t use 6K, which makes it a massive plus, unlike the cringe of the former
  22. Ya that was probably me lol Me or Tom, but he was backing up my ramblings
