  1. 6 rebounds from 6k there. Need him to cover up or someone to clear one out or score a goal. Whichever
  2. Cozens trying to go straight to net there is good I suppose
  3. 6K may need only one save per consonant in a Sabres W, if we can just find a way to buy a vowel here: particularly an “O”
  4. Do you think Kris Baker sleeps more than 5 hours total over the course of the entire WJC tournament?
  5. Imminently stoppable force vs easily moved object a battle of wit (lesness) Rob Ray on the call it’s December 30, baby
  6. Let’s go Buffalo! *Clap clap clap clap clap*
  7. Seems to get hurt a lot
  8. Tage should talk to Jack he might have an extra N to spare
  9. I’m not sure how much there is to watch for, in the sense that, as we’ve seen: you are what your record is in totality, much more so than whatever hot steak you go on to finish up a season. How you play over the second half of a season doesn’t necessarily translate to how your team performs to start the next- we’ve just been first-hand witnesses to this. If we miss the playoffs, and that’s increasingly looking like the looming reality, the season is a failure, full stop. Nothing else really matters. In that sense, the only way to salvage this from an entertainment perspective is a solid streak that legitimately gets us back in the hunt. While that is very unlikely now, especially considering the teams in between and not just the points gap, it’ll be that happening that drums up interest again from this viewer. And, frankly, drums up viewing in general from this consumer. However, I think I’m at the point where I’m ready to shelve the anger (considering this was such a critical season for the rebuild heading in) that has arisen. It’s been shockingly disappointing - but it hasn’t been so bad so as to make me back down from my long-held stance that the GM should get a second shot at making the dance after failing once. It’s looking like try 1 failed, yes, but I don’t see much happening this season yet that necessarily has to put a damper on Adams’ ability to shift this into a playoff roster for next season. Not saying he does it, and some pessimism admittedly arrises from pondering his ability to pull it off, but optimism arises from the fact that in a league where half the teams makes the playoffs, we absolutely have the necessary pieces in place to the tune that anyone with even mediocre competence could right the ship for next season. Playoffs this year are a lost cost barring something exceptional, but playoffs next year are imminently attainable if we grab the bull by the horns. Frankly, KA needs operate as if he’s on the clock right now re: the moves he’d presumably be looking to in the offseason. Use all this runway from now until then to shift this team into something real for next season. Whatever moves can be found. Next year is year 5. He should be desperate. He should be managing for his job.
  10. New goal for the season is to merely just not draft 8th again
  11. To the guillotine with these blue jackets, then got a feeling we pick up the W today, (but heads won’t roll either way)
  12. Playing the worst team in the East today, we should be careful what kind of conclusions we draw about Granato when it comes to a one game sample size. No doubt that shall NOT be the case on the wider internet, but still
  13. It’s not always which players, it’s sometimes when you roster specific players. It’s always been about finding the right mix at the right time: and we seem to be unbalanced again in a particular direction
  14. In before the eye roll from Hank
  15. Clown show
  16. It’s not a cheap shot, it’s a nuance: he’s only interested in winning today in so far as it results from prioritizing winning later Disastrous results need not follow only from a failure to want to win. They can and clearly due arise from that desire, as it relates to the now term, not being prioritized
  17. The Sabres have played at a 75 point pace over Kevyn Adams 4 seasons as GM
  18. And yet, we DID take that step backwards. The consensus on whether it would happen or not is not relevant. Average out our point total from over the course of 4 seasons, then, if you prefer.
  19. The Sabres finished 25th place in the league when Botterill was fired. 4 years later, Kevyn Adams has the Sabres sitting…in 26th place. What a plan. It’s not whining - your standards are quite *literally* non existent. You can grant him the absurdly long list of caveats you went out of your way to laboriously detail and he STILL will have done an objectively terrible job. We’ve done nothing.
  20. poor Kevyn Adams
