  1. I think it might just be generational
  2. There may be merit to the idea they need to learn from someone with legit experience, but with such an overkill of youth they struggle to relate to older players. Maybe they do need a Byram. “There’s a dude bro we can trust.” Imo, under this line of thinking I don’t understand how Granato could still be here, for a team in such need of experience. Maybe they think a vet coach would be tuned out
  3. Get guys gone
  4. Deadline day! Let’s gooooooo
  5. STILL only 9 points out. We aren’t gonna make it but Tampa is ass
  6. It’s so innocuous it’s almost more believable
  7. I guess Adams is trying to DO the Nashville model from a few years back, no? Somewhat? If D is going to be your strength make it REALLY your strength, multiple great defenders, and strong tending, whether it’s the massive Rinne/UPL or the diminutive Saros/Levi?
  8. Mittelstadt was a great name, fun to say. On that front Bowen Byram is a very reasonable return Bowen Byram
  9. We benefited from it vs Carolina it giveth and taketh Tired: ^ Wired: Send Comrie to Rochester and play Ryan Johnson in goal
  10. If Dylan Cozens and Bowen Byram, however, do it, it’s probably a good omen for this team getting a little more serious about winning
  11. Lol no. They don’t need to do anything anyone says. they just need to make the playoffs once It is not a “flex” to judge based on actual results.
  12. I assume he meant pass-first tho, so I prob wouldn’t include Quinn. To me he’s more like a Mark Stone duel threat on each play I think the Habs have 5 guys from that draft too
  13. Lord help us tho if “who even was there?” gets uttered. If you willingly create a hole, you are amendable to the results regardless of how much the market doesn’t want to hold your hand
  14. Absolutely true. And they’d be right to. Unfortunately for Kevyn Adams, and all GMs, hindsight need not apply: it is literally their job to find results, not to “make decisions that seem defensible at the time”. Every GM *thinks* they are making the right move. They are literally judged based on the actual result. That’s why they are paid professionals
  15. I do get a kick out the fact that, before the deal, we could only hear about how the name of the game is try and “run 4 lines” like the 06 Sabres, how Casey allows us a Roy/Vanek/Pominville line, and now that he’s gone it’s just..”ah, what do we need a good 3C for? Expendable” just an observation, no point to make
  16. Poorly. It’ll be Dahlin
  17. Perhaps a better term is reclamation
  18. I’m sure he’s a great dude. Like in real life. In so far as I maintain we actually know little to nothing about celebrities, and athletes are no exception. But, nonetheless, from what we can tell. That being said, and somewhat contradictory to that idea, I will say to me that this character on my Sabres tv show is clearly ultimate Bro dude when you are as old as me, well it’s sort of self explanatory
  19. I cannot stand Krebs lol I’m sorry. Like I won’t lie and pretend like i think he’s a bad player because im hiding a bias. I’m putting it out there, outright. I am not a reliable narrator for analysis of his on ice play haha
  20. Every fan and their mom thinks the national guys are biased because they are conditioned to the playcalling of their local Homer Simpson on the broadcast
