If it’s not Misa who truly seems to be somewhat special, I wish there was somehow a value trade available for the pick. I just really don’t think adding more youth unless in exceptional cases is going to help this team any time soon right now and time needs to be considered of the essence: as if it shouldn’t have been a long time ago, now Misa does seem like a potential game breaker

Could be a lot of Bernier there We should also be prepared for the fact he’s a pretty good hockey player

Bill Hoppe Missive of Doom: Trades show Terry believes in Adams' vision

Not a good omen -
A) the primary goals being keeping the roster young and cheap could be a potential answer ie we have a conflict of interest as fans with management right now B) another potential scenario is Adams is enamoured with exactly what he says: long term success. And is frustratingly, i’d personally argue pig-headedly disinterested in “merely” fielding playoff teams. - because if he’s not lying up at the podium (suggested scenario 1), and he’s not telling the truth (option 2), that leads to option 3 which is the incompetence you speak of which would be so extreme it legitimately seems to be the 3rd most likely of our scenarios

He’s not doctor strange And not the person hiring the coaches?

I’ve heard there’s talk of the Cup being stripped

GDT-Edmonton Oilers at Sabres Monday 3/10/25-7pm, ESPN+ and WGR

It’s just rather shocking for a centre. Great shooter, zero playmaking and of course he set up the goal so -
That they positioned it as our avenue for improvement last offseason was a farce. If they do that again this offseason you’ll know we are already screwed You can’t! Unless you address the roster or, just vaguely suggest “fixing” it. That’s the other option. Just fix it, ya know!?

They’ve passed the bills relative to the amount of teams who make the playoffs -

Particularly wild his first point was a primary assist too, considering: -

That was a nice first point from Norris -
I’ve heard it’s night and day between misa and hagens. But more importantly smart sabres twitter is telling me he’s a wing. I’m scratching my head at the disconnected info here haha. Whom do I trust

And there’s SO much talent these days, and more drafts than not are giving multiple teams the ability to add game-changers in the top 5/10. As we’ve seen, you get a good player, usually, when you are bad and pick high. But a lot of teams get good players every year, then. It’s not an avenue to being good on its own, not close. Less than ever are teams going to to the long form rebuild now. -
Ya I’ve paid attention little but have heard there’s quite a tier between him and the next F. And we don’t want a D
-
Oh I heard recently he was projected to wing at the NHL level, any truth to that?
-
He’s a winger, right? More of a playmaker or shooter? Or both?

Totally agree. They cant harp on culture so much and players wanting to be here and be unaccountable to that variable. If culture matters so much you are acknowledging that the players, ESPECIALLY young players, ESPECIALLY young players in the year of our lord 2025 with social media running rampant, aren’t robots. Do you think they aren’t smart enough to understand and interpret what a true lack of expectation, and accountability from on high, looks like? And, heaven forbid, eventually even come to imbibe it through the reinforced, year after year, environment of low expectations? have mercy

Dude was a gamer for me at the 4 nations. The Buffalo Sabres have room for Mitchell Marner

“Best player when healthy” isn’t a very strong argument on its own re: “the better player overall” when his injury history is Bogosian-esque It keeps being said, “if he stays healthy”. It should be, “assuming he continues to occasionally struggle with health concerns.” That’s not a negative viewpoint, I would argue it’s not a matter of being positive or negative. It’s about an acknowledgment of the actual documented statically history and the most likely result based on that. There’s a clear established trend, it’s not some sort of 50/50 proposition. This is exactly the same argument I made re: a Comrie I’ve seen almost no discussion paid to the idea of how we structure the lineup under the terms of assuming we get about 60 or so from Norris. Hope for more of course

Probably because his comments are literal propaganda *TO* convince fans it’s not all doom and gloom as most like to believe lol like that’s the subtext of his script. That’s the messaging below the surface you are purchasing

And Ruff thinks Norris could be the 1C. So I guess we didn’t have one? Haha
