  1. Rangers headed to OT after blowing lead Habs lose Sabres can pull within 7 points after being 15 back, 5 days ago
  2. Don’t need to add any forwards though. Just fix them by choice Our forwards that are 19th in the league at even strength xG% are totally fine when you reach 19th, you know you can rest I mean, it’s 19th Our other metrics are all terrible. But, 19th at even strength! You have to give Adam’s credit for that, at least. 5 years, but we are 19th at even strength. 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
  3. The sabres don’t need upgrades they just need to choose to fix things. Team D can just be improved and the special teams fixed: don’t improve the forwards to do it, just do it.
  4. You can’t find and interpret those facts given both the sample size and nature of when in the season the games are taking place That’s the Sabres continual folly Neither has missing the playoffs 14 straight years
  5. It’s not that all of those things aren’t true, and then some: the mistake would be enveloping ourselves in so much bias that we can’t see that, upon stepping back our perspective one iota, all other teams could point to mirror images of the same things in their seasons. And there were wins we salvaged from losses. Just the other day against winnipeg Reimer stood on his head against winnipeg. We’ve had late comebacks from the jaws of defeat. why shouldn’t the extremity of the losing streak be present? Is it not reflective of the extremity of our youth relative to other teams? As you point out, we need more veteran talent. you can just eliminate the losing streak, as I said, you can’t just take a teams’ flaws away. But if we want to be really nice, we can say they “got on a roll” and it was a particular anomaly unlikely to be repeated and we can go ahead and “soften” the losing streak: over the 13 game stretch we gained 3 points. Keeping in mind our pace aside from that stretch if we eliminate it completely, is 89 points per 82, it would result in 14 points accumulated in said 13 games. So, as mentioned, we can’t just eliminate the losses completely and attribute their normal play. EVERY team has a down stretch. But let’s “soften” it. They gained 3, “no losing streak” pace is 14. Split the difference to be nice, let’s give them 6 extra points and said they gained 9 in the stretch. they are now pacing as an 83 point team this season In year 5 of Adams build After giving them 3 free wins
  6. Honestly I think Bernard Docker saved his job. I’d extend him. Adams, I mean
  7. Would we think better of the team if we took a bunch of our losses and switched them to wins? I’d imagine so, yes
  8. Until the goalposts need to move
  9. Big deal. The point is that “taxes” don’t have to matter. Apples to apples is exactly what Adams does: pick the convenient excuse for the moment, whichever that one is is the “apple.” there’s a common denominator owner in Buffalo. That he hired 3 incompetent GMs isn’t a stretch it’s the most logical outcome. Adams has just proven to be significantly worse. Yzerman is not a monolith. Because HE supposedly cant do it without that benefit, when many can and do, isn’t an excuse at all: it’s the exception that proves the rule. Adams and Yzerman are the anomaly. It proves his talents as a GM are now shallow. You are conditioned to think you can only ask for a below replacement level GM. besides, Francis Ford Coppola made the godfather and megalopolis. We live in a world of human beings
  10. All star
  11. Montreal L we have more points since Sunday than every team in the race above us, combined we are just the better team
