Nice post LTS, the impatience on some of our brethren is almost funny if it wasn't a blame everyone but their favorite player crescendo.
-
Fact is he was terrible in the first 2 periods of the Vancouver game also. Nice comeback in the 3rd period but had too many turnovers in those first 2 periods. Coaches job is to occasionally jump on his players who are not performing, jump on Des..... nobody notices besides Des, jump on one of your star players, everyone gets the hint including Sam. Plus it's not quite a demotion moving to center between Ennis and Girgs. Actually a promotion for those 2 guys and deservedly so, they showed some spark the past 2 games. Should be a winnable game because the Flyers play tonight in Montreal so catching them on a back to back where they have a longer travel day than us should be a help.

Sooooo Reinhart? I've been watching the Ducks games to see how Fowler has been playing. Don't kid yourselves, he's not coming cheap even if he's the one to truly get moved. He's arguably the best defender they have right now.

I had the same issue last year. When ATT bought out Direct TV, I switched over so I have the best of both worlds plus I have free GameCenter until early November. Its no different on NFL Ticket either. The game in your local area is blacked out on it also. I guess they are protecting the commercial rights of those Networks.

Welcome back Mr. GDT man :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:
-
PSSSSST PSSSSSST, CT FAB you are not supposed to be in here. I think nfreeman had WildCard start this thread to get all the hormonals in one area so he could finish up the fence. Shhhhhh don't tell anyone I told you. Now lets get outta here.

Same here, in fact they are even better On Demand because they take out all the commercials. Being in Texas there is a dearth of hockey talk so even at their worst, they are a good listen.
-
They're playing in Calgary aren't they??? Wildcard have you abdicated the GDT starter role???? Dude, you were the all-time best at this, tell me you aren't the ex-gdt starter now......   No intended slight on you Mr. High Ankle Sprain

My memory glands may be warped but in my mind Jerry Korab was as good or better than Jim Schoenfeld. What he's doing in the discussion of top 10 Sabres of all time, I have no clue. I wouldn't even have him in the top 5-10 Dmen of all time, popularity maybe, skill wise, no way
-
I have a Roku3 and I haven't had an issue with it. Picture is better than ever and I did start a game late and was able to start from the beginning but it was one of the preseason games. So far no waiting to load issues either. Watched some of the Islander-Ducks game before the Sabre game started, no issues there either. In fact I was surprised NHLTV had the game at all because it was also on NHL Network which usually then kills the live version. I could only take so much of Michael Jackson (the look-alike) before I switched over to the MSG game.

Or that Bogosian was bad, he was a +3
-
Thank you, my good laugh for the day has been taken care of.

Girgensons TOI got cut way back right after he didn't help his Dmen on either Oiler goal. He was late getting back on both if you watch the tape. After that he only played in spurts and I'm guessing he missed an assignment. DD also played the ROR and Larsson lines multiple minutes in the 2 period and for good reason they were both outstanding in that game. Foligno for all the bashing he receives on this site, really plays well with Larsson and Gionta as the old vet knows where to play off both of them. That line was really impressive this game
-
Actually I put the above posts on nfreeman, I told him to put up the dang fence, but does he listen........ NOOOOOOO
-
Bad luck goal
-
Great start to this game
-
Hormonal, that's all I've got to say.
-
Maybe instead of the bolded you could have said gain some chemistry together. Better yet maybe you could install a fence around the cliff so the hormonal wouldn't jump off of at any type of preconceived notion they have with the lineup they want that the coach doesn't comply with.

"It was the only way I could think of to get Sam to do my laundry..........I hate doing laundry"

Least disruptive lineup going forward This will keep some type of continuity on the team Ennis-ROR-Okposo Kane-Girgensons-Reinhart Foligno-Larsson-Gionta/ Moulson-Grant-Des Fasching Coolio-Risto McCabe-Bogo Gorges-Franson Nelson Lehner now becomes even more important than before Girgensons gets his chance to show what he's made of
-
Too funny, Too true
-
I watched it too. I was more confused than angry, I'm guessing they think Lehner is a bust because I couldn't agree more with the bolded part. I'm hoping we can become a playoff team but if not this year we are without question on the upswing. Last??? I haven't seen anything that suggest that from this team.
-
That's a fair deal to both sides. It'll be nice to have him in the lineup for Thursday also.

Sir if I can give you some wise advice....... Don't blink because you'll be in your 20s and 30s one moment and the next you'll be going how in the hell did I get to 60 so fast. As for those worrying about a market crash...... when your young it's much easier to not worry about because what you're doing is buying a share, when the share goes down you'll be buying more of them. When the market recovers you will get your lost money back plus gain a much higher percentage in the shares you bought cheap. Plus while your in your productive years you are saving in the taxes you're not paying. When you do use the money during your retirement years, you'll just be adding to the amount your receiving from SSecurity and hopefully some other kind pension fund. Although I think pensions may be a thing of the past going forward, but you never know. Once the baby boomers all leave the work force, the way to recruit may be to re-offer different benefits including pensions.

Willie Wonka I'm 63 and my hometown teams have NEVER won a Super Bowl or a Stanley Cup. Chances are my guess is as close as anyone's as to who will hold up the Cup first. Yes I feel cheated.
