I am not saying the sabres ruined Eichel and obviously he wasn’t the answer. What the problem was is that the who team was totally mismanaged from the minute they selected jack at the draft. I don’t trust any sabres management at this point because the have proven over and over again that they can ***** up a wet dream. I get Adams has hired supposedly some gurus who are going to make this team the best ever seen but until that happens, they have a who lot to ***** prove

Exactly. I’ve been a Sabres fan for 40+ years and I’ve ride and died with them. The last of my positivity go a burned up after having absolute elation that the Sabres finally got a “team changing” generational player and watching this organization just destroyed it. They have to do a lot more for me to get excited about this team again. There is still a lot this organization can absolutely ***** up.

He is very content with keeping this team in the same age group so that means very little veteran experience coming.

Thats the problem, one player shouldn’t affect this team. It happened in the beginning of the season with muel, it happened when dahlin went out. It should NOT affect them when certain players g out. That shows how mentally weak they are.

If the Sabres don’t fix their defense then you can keep hoping to see the forest but all you’re staring at is trees

I remember when a goal Pominville (if I remember correctly) scored was disallowed because it bounced off his chest. The said it was “redirected”. The league has a very liberal take on what is a kicking motion and redirection

A 21 year old can overachieve if they’re playing over and beyond what experts predicted his level to be at. I don’t think he’s overachieving this season, i think he’s about at the level of play he will get too, A little earlier than expected i feel the whole team is overachieving offensively. There is no way this team continues the offense they have this year. If they don’t score more than three goals, there is a great chance of losing. The last two games are perfect examples. On top of that, teams have learned that if you stifle the Sabres high octane offense, you will win. next year they have to focus on defense or they will start to spin their wheels. Obviously if they focus on defense, their offense and goals will suffer but that is to be expected.

True when you wear the fan base down like this organization did, anything looks good to us at this point.
