It is to a point. Teams are starting to figure it out, like the Penguins, so that inconsistency will disappear. I know I’m a pessimist with the Sabres but I don’t know if they figure it out. Also, when do we stop using “young team” as a crutch especially since they were suppose to contend for the playoffs?

Most of the team played far above their expected level. It wasn’t the norm, it was anomaly. this is what we should have seen last season
