If veterans are not needed to win, explain Dallas who are basically the best team in the league. They have a total of 16 players north of 25, eleven are 30+. Yeah let’s keep icing 20 year olds because you don’t need Vets to win or wait at least another 2-3 more years before our young players get more experience. I think the Sabres should hold out making the playoffs for a few more years anyway. Let’s hold out for a nice whole number like 15.

It seems like the front office enjoys the “youngest team” title. as for Adams being responsible. That’s true but, sadly, they will never get veterans worth a damn who because good veterans don’t want to come play for them. You can put only so much lipstick on a pig.

He made the right decision at the time. Detroit did (and still does for the moment) have a better chance. I think he decided with Detroit for more reasons than them having a better chance.
