Just watched it. Total ***** fluff piece. They definitely know fans are questioning Terry’s loyalty to the team. They made it a point to say that these upgrades are coming from the owners pocket and the family is as committed to this market as anyone is committed to a market. Oh and “Terry loves hockey”. Elaine said it best…blah blah blah

I’m back and as negative ever @Spoonman ! Why do people still believe that TP actually gives 💩💩 about this team? His 100% focus is on the Bills. They area perennial money maker unlike the Sabres. I will always believe that them buying the Sabres was a means to an end. Now it’s a drain on the pocketbook and that is why he did massive cost cutting measures in the last 4 years. The improvements to the arena ( like the new video board) is lipstick on a pig to try and make the team more attractive. It will be interesting on how the players handle being coached by a real NHL coach since they were use to rainbows and unicorns. They may be too mentally fragile to handle him. Time will tell if there will be a revolt or not.

For the Sabres to be in any real trade talks, they are going to have to make playoffs on their own with the talent they have for a few years. That will be the only way they will start changing minds in the league. Unfortunately I don’t see that happening. 🤷‍♂️

I don’t understand why any Sabres fan would ever think that any Sabres GM would be able to make a deal at this point. They are the laughing stock of the league and no one worth a damn wants to come to Buffalo because of the utter dysfunction. The team has to become a consistent playoff team before they start gaining any respect around the league.

I don’t remember how he said it. If he said he talked with double digits then that may not be a lie. I’m sure many people called him about the opening

Reading that thread yesterday was amusing to see how quickly people attacked the credibility. Some people don’t want to burn their sources. I didn’t understand why people were so quick to poo poo it when I thought it was a very real possibility. I know someone mentioned the new scoreboard and roof as proof why he wasn’t selling. When I heard the rumor I immediately thought that may been a condition of the deal. this is going to be a very interesting summer

The people on here isn’t who you need to worry feeling that everything is ok. I could see the Sabres sitting on their hands again this season they finished just above.500 with things “clicking” at the end of the season again. I can see DG and KA thinking that they just need to wait or bring up another young player or two. They really love trust youngest team label
