That my posts seem inconsistent to an argument is because I wasn't making an argument in the first place. I didn't have a particular opinion about Reinhart when he was a Sabre and I really don't care about him now. There aren't $6 resale tickets because people dropped their ST and don't have them to dump anymore. I'm serious about that Red Wings game in December, take a look at what they have left to sell. It's crazy. The ONLY tickets they've sold to that game are STHers and probably only the full season ones at that.

That's all fine. What do you do to pursue casual fans then because the STHers dont come close to filling the building? The way I see they are keeping the building half empty to keep you happy. There are other ways to do that. Their sales and marketing department sucks.

If the Lightning, who win, can sell $20 student rush tickets for every single game why can't the Sabres? Just an example of something that CAN be done, but isn't. Also, if you think anything Golisano did was about giving a damn about ticket holders and not about margins I disagree strongly. "Hockey Heaven" has done a pretty good job milking ticket holders too. At least Golisano's teams won.

According to ESPN tonight was 14,547 and Thursday was 12,735. The other things about tonight is that, for people traveling in to see the Bills it would have been a twofer opportunity. Had I been going to the Packers game I almost certainly would have gone to the Sabres game tonight.
