Matthew has put up better numbers than Brady. Brady brings more from the toughness aspect because he will drop the mitts and take on just about anyone.

Kucherov has 160 points in 142 playoff games. MacKinnon has 100 points in 77 playoff games, better ppg average.

I love Levi and I think that he is a part of the future in Buffalo. UPL has taken the #1 job and KA must support him properly by bringing in an experienced backup next season. Levi could beat that guy out but that is the chance these backups take when they sign. Levi starting in Rochester next year is OK and there will be opportunities to come up. Almost every team has used 3 goalies at some point.

MacKinnon can do it all. His ratio of goals and assists is about right since they hand out two per goal. When he gallops towards the other end, people come out of their seats and hold their breath. Electric. Kucherov is leading the league in points, 20+ ahead of Matthews. Matthews can score goals like no one else but having one assist for every two goals is not indicative of a centreman in a team game. McDavid is the most talented player in the league and is never a bad choice for this award even in a down year. Pastrnak is last int this group imo, but a great player.

I’m not a fancy stats guy. I don’t think they got scored on, so that helps them. Possession time is decent because Tage tries dangling through the entire opposition, finally losing it vs the 5th guy. Skinner scored but was his typical turnover machine.

WiFi is a solid nickname for him too. His brother Florian plays in the OHL but Arber is a better first name.

I shouldn’t pick on him after a win but I will. I don’t think he contributed a thing to this win. Over handling the puck to lose possession, penalties, losing draws and missing a breakaway chance. He will get out of this funk sometime but he just is not effective. He had a few shifts and shots that created chances but he is just not TNT. Do better! End of rant.

Dakota Joshua will be sought after if he hits the market. He would be a good pick up. Might have to overpay him. Jonathan Quick has played some good games for the Rangers and would probably need to be overpaid. A solid veteran. Sam Lafferty would be a good 4th liner, can play any position with some grit. I am not opposed to the idea floated around here of Skinner for Couture. Skinner is younger and can produce more but he has not helped develop a winning culture. The salaries could almost balance each other out. If Couture can’t play then LTIR is an option.

My favourite True Detective is still season 1 with Woody and Matthew. I give season 4 a B as well.

Gorgeous area for canoeing. Parry Sound has hundreds of cottages on islands, many of them owned by American families that have been going there for a long time. I haven’t spent much leisure time there but have worked many storms restoring power to the islands via submarine cable.

He’s right, the fans booed a poor effort. They pay good money to be entertained and see through a weak effort. I hate losing, always have but I can handle it if everything was left out on the ice. Hard work buys a lot of leeway in my books and I wouldn’t be surprised that a lot of Sabres fans feel the same way. The Sabres coming out not ready and falling behind nearly every game is on DG and the players. I like DG but this country club atmosphere has to end. KA not making any significant moves has just blown any chance to turn this season around. That started in the summer. Hey Sabres, want to stop the boos, play harder and win a few more games. At the very least, take more games to OT, for the points and to give the fans a little more entertainment.
