    Chiarelli says he's not afraid to trade young guns, see Kessel and Seguin. Complete 180 from MacT who told the young core they were all safe.

    Yeah, Sharks peak was '08-'11. Their D and goaltending are not great. No trade clauses have hurt the rebuild on the fly and fractured the management and player relationships. McLellan would be revitalized on a young, hungry club.

    I think McLellan may be a good fit. Wasn't afraid to play young guys like Hertl, Karlsson etc... We need a coach who embraces the challenge of a youthful squad and can help them develop and gel as a team. A junior or college guy could relate to them but lacks NHL experience. McLellan would have credibility and could bring in a varied group of assistants. I hope he's on Tim's radar.

    Schoenfeld was named captain a couple of years after getting drafted. I believe Gare wore the C a few years later. Not sure why Schoney lost it. He was a heart and soul player. Was the same way as a coach, wanting to scrap with other coaches and calling referee Koharski a fat pig.

    Arizona just signed Christian Dvorak, another London Knight forward who shared PP time with Marner and Domi. They've been watching this team a lot so they could be enamoured with Marner.

    MacTavish commented after the lottery that you have to outscore your opponent to win games. Back to the Oilers of old, fire wagon hockey! Not working for them now, but add McDavid and it may work. Win a Cup and then the copycats come out of the woodwork and we're back to 3.14 goals against average winning the Vezina. Doubt it but never say never.

    Hamilton is getting the Belleville Bulls next year, but there may be another destination in mind. I agree there may be more to this story because McDavid did not look very happy.

    At the Frozen Four final, retired BU coach Jack Parker, who recruited Eichel said it was a bit unfair to the kid but compared his playing style to Mario Lemieux.

    Zona may take Marner, they have Knight teammates Domi and Dvorak. On CBC TM said Eichel was a number one centre on a Stanley Cup team, hope he's right.

    Media is making too much out of TM disappointment, he stated earlier that he would prefer #1 to be in control, which he likes. He's been preparing for weeks to probably get Eichel. He doesn't like the spotlight and the PR work, especially after this punch to the gut. Zero *#€~%^s given about the league's lottery and show, but he cares about Jack.

    1,5,11,12 which is sequence #197 at NHL.com. #1 and #97 are perfect for Connor. #1 again and combined with 5 give us '15. #11 ties into Perreault and previous Sabres luck. #12 is how many times McDavid will be an NHL all star.t It's one in thousand.

    Thanks for the updates. He is better suited for centre due to his puck distribution skills. He also is sound positionally and plays all 200 feet when I have watched him. His right handed shot sets up well for a left winger like Kane. I hope we get McDavid for the obvious reasons but also to give us a left/right combo at centre.

    My guess is combination #197 which is 1 5 11 12. It's got #1 and #97. The four numbers also have #1, 1 and 5 make up our year, #11 is a lucky Sabres number and I've got nothing for 12.
