I would think Lehner realizes this is a huge year for him. JBot is watching closely and he will get a goalie who will fit in Phil's game plan if Robin's not the guy. I hope it doesn't cost us a shot at the playoffs this year.

I had to look up bloviating, that made me laugh. I agree that what GMJB does with Kane will be about timing and circumstance. Kane will be motivated to have a career year and JB will have to assess whether he is a long term fit or a great trade piece. With JB's degree in Capology and Buffalo's past issues of losing quality players on July 1st, he will find a solution. To me it's about whether Kane wants to be here or not. They can make the money work if the desire is there. Not groundbreaking analysis, just my two cents, which we longer use in Canada.

He only played one game of the prospects tournament but he wasn't effective. Maybe he was already injured. I find he has awesome hands and could probably do the Patrick Kane drill with 50 pucks to dangle around and not touch any. However, he tries to beat more than one guy and ends up losing the puck or being in a bad spot to dish off. He needs to move his feet more, give and go and then dangle through one guy if necessary. Perreault used to go end to end a few times a game, but that is not today's type of play where all of these guys can all skate pretty well. It also doesn't endear you to your teammates when you try to do it all yourself while they are busting their butts to get open. He's still young and developing, I think he gets there eventually.

Reinhart if he gets a real shot at Centre. Antipin is my second choice, he'll probably be a defensive liability but he could be the perfect fit for Phil's D vision.

Nice PP goal. They were moving it around pretty well and a good shot by Guhle walking the line. Duff said it may have been tipped by Fasching. Fasching has the build to be a net front presence. If he develops his game he could get some looks in that role.

Not sure if WNY power companies are sending help. Hydro One from Ontario is sending 175 workers to help restore power. Employees were told to prepare for 4-6 weeks.

I think his skill set is not what Phil is looking for, so I see him as #7 D.

No flow to the game from our guys. Most of their passes were in the skates. They we're the second best team out there but got out of the period tied. Hope they relax a bit and play hockey.

Whatever he brings, I'm thinking 35 points, is a bonus. He brought us Scandella, who will help our team improve.

My daughter and I used Uber in Britain this summer. She had the App and had used it before. Every experience was good. Subway was the cheapest, but did not go everywhere. Buses were also cheap, but a bit slower due to transfers and traffic. Taxis had the best conversations but were expensive compared to Uber.sing I plan on using it for the WJHC game at New Era field.

Too bad we lost Carrier due to him being a left handed shot. Bailey, Baptiste, Fasching or Rodrigues may have to play their off wing. I like Baptiste the most, probably from watching him in the OHL.
