    Apparently the Sabres aren't very good when their shooting percentage is below 33%.

    A couple of teenagers aren't going to fix this.

    They were tin men. All skill, no heart. Drury basically drove Satan off the team. Vanek and is buddies convinced the franchise to tank.

    Winning 5-2 while being out shot 40-15 might have taught these guys the wrong lesson.

    We want these young guys to turn into the next Peca or Drury. We might have to face the fact they are really the next Satan or Vanek.

    The Sabres could trade for Carter Hutton and name him starter, and their goalie situation would still be better than the Raiders QB/Coach situation.

    As an team, the Sabres have no clue how to defend the front of the net. And that doesn't mean knocking people down. They don't take away passing lanes, tie up sticks, block shots, lean on guys in front. It's just open season on the goaltender.

    Sure, there's being ready to be an above average starting goaltender, but if the Sabres don't tighten up their defensive play, Levi will have to be an all star for the Sabres to win. That's even more pressure on a 21 year old.

    If he's not ready yet to be an NHL starter, the Sabres are screwed this year. And that's not on him, it's on Adams.

    Clifton's +/- is going to be be Bryson-esque this season.
