For all the shortcomings that fans understand and accept that this team has, no-showing for games should not be one of them. This team has been shut out under Granato way too many times.

I agree. Damning for those who followed GMTM. (If the Sabres lose today, they will not be able to pass that mark this season).

And yet that team set the high water mark for points during the tank era. Go figure, I guess.

This team has a lot of things moving in the right direction, but it took RJ to bring the fans back. And that makes sense, as he's been drawing fans to the Sabres his entire brilliant career. And all credit to the team, showing the fans that they're worth their attention. Another mini Cup game, and the team kept it going. Let's go Sabres!

How can you not miss this crowd?

They need to learn to play with this energy. Lot of good in that period, but also a lot of sloppiness.

No problem with no deals. Would have been nice to move Miller, but wasn't expecting he'd bring much in return. Also interested in Adams making some moves to replace some of the JAGs, but any move to do so would still be a bit early. The off season is still the best time to do that. Glad he decided to hold on to Olofsson, Hinostroza, and Anderson a bit longer.

Another great angle. Vegas is going to be one of the more interesting teams at the deadline.

It'll be interesting to see what they do at the trade deadline. There has to be a perception on the team that if they could slip into the playoffs, they'll get Stone back and everything will be all right. That might make them buyers at the deadline, willing to part with even more draft picks. With their cap situation mandating 'win now,' they could dig themselves a deeper hole in a delusional attempt to save the season.

Leafs have talent, but that team has no heart. Sabres walking out of the stadium like they're the Charleston Chiefs.

Suck it Leafs. Imagine getting booed in Hamilton is like getting kicked in the nuts in Cleveland.

Just a bit of criticism for Cozens, if he's going to play that way, he shouldn't be wearing a necklace. Unless it's a medic alert one.
