    we have been getting some excellent shifts from our 3rd and 4th lines. When Kane and Eichel develop some rhythm or get split up this team will be so much better than last year. I can't wait for December/January games. Some weak calls against today...

    He also has to have to have some help from his D to clear the net so he's not being pestered. Everyone was watching the puck. Tie up a stick and that 2nd and 3rd shot never happens.

    I thought that was Knee on Knee to Eichel and had visions of the worst. 2 PP goals? A new era indeed!

    Also, I play WAY to much NHL 16. I keep wanting the goalies to keep the play going despite knowing better.

    I'm not one to normally complain about missed penalties but in every game this season I've seen 4-5 missed interference calls while entering the zone. That number doubles if you count the ones the Sabres have gotten away with. If the Forward dumps it past you and you stand the guy up impeding his progress to the puck - that is text book interference. I understand slowing him down, but completely blocking him out? That Ennis one that you mention I'm sure was the one where Ennis wasn't even the player that dumped it in past the 3-4 guys stacked at the blue line.

    All this talk about flow; with your linesmates changing every shift how can you expect to develop rhythm. I'll echo the calls to seperate Kane and Eichel, every other aspect of every line is shuffled but these two playing over each other is a rock solid paring? Either stop flipping the other winger around on them or split them all up.

    Love the effort by Deslaurais in that goal Lots of comments on Johnsons rebound control, is it as bad as it sounds? Dunleavy got fooled by that last post, called a goal and had to back pedal.

    With all the line shuffling how can players be expected to get into a groove? I'd like to see some consistency...

    So far he's only added pretty standard stuff, he's been praising Zemgus all game. I'm just waiting for "in order to score goals you have to put the puck in the net" or something along those lines

    Listening on the radio and the first sounded much better than the opener. Nice to hear Moulson's name mentioned with positive additions. With that said, Dan Dunleavy needs to go. Trailing off into tangents during action, generally mixing plays making the action he does call hard to follow and his partner keeps cutting him off to say the exact same obvious thing. It took him to intermission to mention that Gorges got the Buffalo penalty. Ugh.

    And what's stopping them from having them check EVERY zone entry that preceded a goal. The resulting roar from that goal was two seasons worth of pent up release. That amount of release holds a lot of back pressure. It hails of a new time in Sabres history, a birth of sorts.

    What does happen if TEAM A enters the offensive zone, play continues, TEAM B commits a penalty, then TEAM A scores negating the penalty. TEAM B then challenges the entry and play is ruled offsides. No goal AND no penalty? STUPID STUPID rule. A 2v1 into the zone is a missed offside (even an by an imperceptible amount) and directly leads to a goal, yes, by all means review the ever loving shite out of it. That 2v1 turns into a battle in the corner and then it's passed out to the point and the D-man scores, chock it up to variance, goal stands.

    See that's the thing I feel more put out by a goal being overturned by a offsides call from a coaches challenge then I EVER would by a goal being scored against us on a blown offsides call. The momentum of the game ground to halt by something.....unnatural. Unnatural is the best word for it.

    I think all the hooking calls are a testament to the speed of this team. They are making plays and the Sens are getting desperate to make some sort of play and we're getting the calls.

    How far back can these offsides challanges go? Can you have a play in the zone for a full minute but if the initial entry was offside no goal?
