  1. Eat fecal matter Detroit! I might be jealous and hope we could've beat the Habs in a 3 on 3 to save our playoff chances, but still go pound salt
  2. Preparing for the light dusting this offseason and not the full house clean that's needed
  3. I thank you all for a wonderful season of conversation and witty banter. At least there was that.
  4. Who the hell is Sean and does he have a beautiful voice?
  5. Thanks for showing up in game 82 when it doesn't matter Dylan. Donnie after the game: "If he can play like that for a full 82, we got something there."
  6. "Hey Kevyn, quick question for you. Who was in charge of coaching for the league worst 45% on faceoffs this year? And an immediate follow up to the first query: We can all agree that man is a failure, makes us cry, and has been charged with crimes against humanity right?"
  7. Was there talk of execution if they didn't at least get the loser point?
  8. Might want to be a little stronger on the puck there Dylan
  9. Ohhhhhhhhhhh because Knights might have used sabres as a primary choice of weapon. That makes sense
  10. I just realized Fan Appreciation Night is an acronym of Fan. I must be pretty dumb. Anyhoo, interested to see the fan reaction tonight. I am kind of hoping for the down 4-0 after the first 10 minutes chaos scenario. Let the boos reign down from the rafters
  11. This is definitely the overarching problem. They got suckered in with the progression last year and has clouded their judgment that this team is still not good enough. Send Don back to USA hockey. He has done the development part here. Thank you for that Meatballs. He is not ever going to be a "take to it the next level" coach. Find that person now or we're hitting 15 years on the drought for certain
  12. I think there will be plenty of disdain shown. The broadcast might be insufferable to watch with all of the positive spin being vomited out in waves
  13. I agree with that. I know the players like him, but there has to be a fire lit at the same time. I don't necessarily need a Tortorella to be yelling like a psycho all the time, but somewhere in between
  14. I just listened to Don Granato on WGR. I was ready to criticize everything he said, so my take was certainly biased. He didn't show much emotion when asked about his feelings on playoff elimination. "We have 3 games left and need to play them the right way." Be pissed. Be raging like most of us are. Give me something. He was asked about the constant poor starts to games. His answer to that was, and I'm paraphrasing slightly, "I feel like we were trying to score the first goal and that got us in trouble. Your mindset can't be to score every shift." Should the mindset be to give up the first 2 or 3 goals before you decide to start playing? It is infuriating to hear that he wanted them to play "safer" and not press too hard for offense. He also didn't want to throw any players under the bus and wouldn't elaborate on what Tage Thompson meant by "the outside noise" affecting their play. After the interview was over, Jeremy and Joe made no comments on the interview whatsoever. Their first thought was "So and so NFL draft guy" has a new WR rankings list out.
  15. "We learned that calling a timeout with 0.2 seconds left was asinine at best. I want to thank Matty Ellis for the advice there."
  16. What a perfect time for "Fan Appreciation" night. Let the 1,500 in attendance give 'em hell!
  17. That's a BS rule that the faceoff stays in the zone if it's goes out of play off of an offensive player
