I've been on all sorts of Minnesota Wild boards and comment sections and they couldn't be more ecstatic. Just because Granato got something out of Thompson (a 1st round pick) at 23-24 years old, doesn't mean he'll get something out of Greenway (a 2nd round pick) at 26-27 years old. Hope it works out in some way.

I love what Adams is doing (Greenway doesn't count)...he's doing things the right way finally. It's the youngest team in the league, they're only going to get bigger, faster, stronger, better as they continue to grow and mature. This is like what they did when guys like Vanek, Pominville, Roy, etc, were in Rochester...they're just doing it in Buffalo now. It's going to work, we just need to be patient...or more patient.

Please. elaborate? He doesn't score goals. He doesn't create them. He"s tried to fight like 7 times and mostly got his ass kicked. What am I missing? Because whatever it is, certainly is not worth giving the Wild a 2nd round pick to do them a favor since they need cap space. I'll give him an "A" for getting a third round pick for Portillo. A "C" for adding Stillman. An "F" for Greenway...paying the Wild a 2nd round pick to do them a favor doesn't sit right with me.

Granato got his boy in Greenway and Adams got his buddy's kid in Stillman...they're basically sticking with familiarity and doing people they know a solid. Hopefully it amounts to something.

We're talking about the Amerks' free agents...but there's really no other worthy prospects in Rochester besides those two. And yes, Kulich absolutely gives them difficult decisions next fall...but they might keep him down for one more year.

I love most of Adams' moves and I still trust him, but doing the Wild a favor by giving them a 2nd round pick to take a $3M scrub off their hands? Woof.

The only players who should be sitting for Jordan Greenway and his 7 points are Girgensons and Hinostroza...Quinn or Peterka especially should never have their development risked to play a scrub like Greenway.

He's a 19 year old developing kid who got basically no playing time last year...he was always going to take time.

Jake Livingston is a must to go after...they desperately need a couple right-handed defensemen in the system. Isn't Mittelstadt's brother a 5-10 LHD who has been passed over in the draft already? Doesn't seem worth the time. As for Rochester...everybody except Rousek, Murray and Weissbach can go.

Jason Kasdorf belongs in Elmira. Muzito-Bagenda signed an AHL contract...decent size and speed, looking forward to see if he can crack the Amerks lineup.

What exactly do the Ducks want in Zemgus Girgensons and Tyler Ennis? Nobody wants them, especially for a 23 year old top-pairing LHD. Might as well trade Guhle and Borgen and McCabe, since there won't be any room for them with all these LHD people want to bring in.

I would love to get both of them, but I doubt we get either of them. I think Vesey will go to Toronto or Boston...and I'd put my money on Caggiula going to Vancouver with Stecher, and Boeser.

One thing I noticed, and I wonder if you (or anyone else) noticed... Buffalo does not have one prospect on that list UNDER 6-feet tall. (Only one under 185 pounds.) Toronto only has two prospects on that list OVER 6-feet tall. (Only four over 185 pounds.) That is impressive to me...keep building like this and we'll destroy teams moving forward.
