  1. Eichel, Rodrigues, Moulson! Nicely balanced. Guhle looked good until rocked by Phaneuf. that POS! There were so many things to like tonight. Mr. Lehner, shut your doubters the up! it was just a much better game from top to bottom. The hit wasn't clean, he left the ice, it's preseason. Enough of the clown garbage! He's a bench player. Literally, the bench. McCormick has more to his game at this point. He shouldn't be in the line-up over Larsson.
  2. , being blown out of proportion. Media swooning over juicy conversations that happen behind close doors. *Yawn*
  3. I would assume that he's just getting reps at the center position.
  4. All I hear out of Bylsma's mouth (from presser's) are good things about Larsson aside from his attitude when facing demotion. Which is hard for a player who is producing positive results. Whereas with Legwand it just seems like he's there. I may be reading into things but Larsson has played in all situations and has been up there with the top line for minutes in the pre-season. Call me crazy but when push comes to shove Bylsma will keep Larsson.
  5. These are just guesses like everyone else. Evander Kane-Ryan O'Reilly-Tyler Ennis Matt Moulson-Jack Eichel-Sam Reinhart Marcus Foligno-Zemgus Girgensons-Brian Gionta Nic Deslauriers-Johan Larsson-Jamie McGinn Reserves: David Legwand, Cal O'Reilly Mark Pysyk-Zach Bogosian Josh Gorges-Rasmus Ristolainen Mike Weber-Cody Franson Reserve: Carlo Colaiacovo Robin Lehner Chad Johnson I can agree with that. He is coming off a major back injury that took 80% of his season last year. Not an easy thing to come back from, however he still looks like he's pressing. We'll see but he's not a top six forward. There are worse options on the third or fourth line. Couldn't it be that this is due to the split squad games? Both probably will be sent down or waived before Tuesday's game against Toronto. I would think. Donovan and Colaiacovo have been terrible IMO. I definitely see the reasoning there. Fasching is being brought along the right way. Baptiste and Bailey are both interesting projects in their own. They probably need a season to a season and a half in the AHL to see what happens against legit NHL type competition. Larsson forces his way into the bottom six forwards, pushing Cal O'Reilly and David Legwand back. Legwand to me doesn't have a long shelf life on this team IMO. Bylsma said it himself: There isn't a lot of skill left to his game, but he knows where to be and how to play in the crunch. I'm paraphrasing.
  6. That is simply the best way to put it. When we were so in tune for Tanking that it hurt that we were beating the defacto would be Stanley Cup champions. Praying to lose. Just simply the lowest I will ever go for a sports team. NEVER AGAIN!
  7. Someone has to get a gif of Ennis going afer Mark Stone. If there was ever a "David versus Goliath", moment. Eichel's win on the draw against Turris and rushing the play at the goalie was great. The patience on the second goal to the no look pass to Ennis. Larsson played well and composed as did Girgensons. I was really impressed. McGinn played pretty solid aside from the knee to knee collision on Zack Smith. A lot of positives. Colaiacovo and Donovan aren't much more than what I've thought they were depth and emergency call up's. Guhle has outplayed both emphatically.
  8. I cannot read. WTF is up with me today.
  9. Honestly, he's still a punk. He comes home to Buffalo and these things happen. He seems like he's great during the season in Chicago. I just really have no sympathy for him. He obviously hasn't changed his mindset on people he's with and what he's doing at 25-26. Get your in order.
  10. This deal is good for the Sabres, and it was then. Armia has no guarantee to make an impact anytime soon. You can call Myers what you want and he showed some promise for Winnipeg when he got into the groove of things, however Bogosian has looked fine for Buffalo and Kane looks like the type of player you want. Lemieux the 1st (Roslovic), and Armia seems like a fair price. Drew Stafford ran out his time here, and was an expiring contract.
  11. October 15th. They've got bodies, but they're still terrible.
  12. Hamilton was on the Wednesday Hockey Hotline with Sylvester and Peters talking about how he could be NHL ready this season and that he looked especially well with Pysyk. Additionally, that they could be a future pair. Which is nice to dream on. He really is looking special and not just another project.
  13. Seriously this sounds like an Eklund type article. I'm sure you take calls all the time about just about anyone, but it is sad when these things see any light.
  14. Extended Versions for LOTR - though honestly once you watch them you don't need to again. The books far out weigh the Potter films. For the most part the movies are terrible comparisons. Aside from 3.
  15. I just don't believe this at all. Taking a phone call doesn't elude to much more than a conversation and a quick and resounding "no".
  16. Man, I love this. He should do this with Cherry there!
  17. Yes please, Matheson! I don't really want to move Larsson, but if he's not making the team between Foligno and Deslauriers or on the third line between McGinn and Gionta, what is the purpose of keeping him. He's too good to be the additional forward. He's better than Legwand regardless of his room presence (Legwand).
  18. Wow, that was beautiful. Lets get to the regular season already. So many guys I want to watch. +1. To me it seemed like that from the countless interviews, on subjects to earning his roster spot, his number to the highlights that you see from the development camp. It's more special when an unprecedented talent wants to work to earn everything instead of being handed everything already.

  20. Sigh I don't understand that at all, completely disappointing. I didn't see anything on wild.nhl.com. But, we'll see later on.
  21. They are the only three players that have been signed over that period. Cody McCormick technically though resigned last offseason. Otherwise no one is left. :D
  22. $$$!
  23. It will be available on WGR, I am still going to check on Minnesota's side to see if it is streamed.
  24. I meant Peters is terrible, sorry about that. Kaleta is a fine player for what he does. I just find it hilarious how Peters talks.
  25. Beautiful!
