1-0 should be 2-0 easily. What about Lindholm going after Larsson, what is this....

Gionta has been a good soldier. He's a consummate pro, its one more year. It's not Moulson. he's been a turd.

He's crafty, I remember saying wtf why take on Leggy before the season started, but to be honest. He's done a lot for the younger bottom forwards. He's also been approachable from all the pressers. I'd welcome him back on a 1 year low term deal. If it meant getting rid of McCormick somehow. That's fair it could be 82-28-44. Talent dictates and Larsson has been a great PK'r and in the faceoff end.

I still see 82-22-44 as the perfect line on the bottom. So good. Girgensons on the third?

Ugh....trade value, seeing as he's never seeing top 6 once Hudson Fasching is in the line up for Satuday?

UFA College Defenseman Casey Nelson signs with Sabres
Rasmus_ replied to inkman's topic in The Aud Club
If he was left handed this would be such a perfect signing. However, it just furthers Franson's stay out the window. I think once he's healthy he's out. While I could be completely wrong. I don't think you burn a year on an ELC with a college senior unless you're looking at him for at least a bottom pairing role. -
Lovely, before they are blasted out of the sky can they gift wrap Sebastian Aho, Elias Lindholm and Noah Hanifin. Then by all means, blow that building up. NC is as much a hockey market as Arizona is.

That with 3Putts post that I just read makes a lot of sense. If you can get a Kunitz out of a 4th round talent, you take it and run. He looked great in Minnesota especially this season.

Kane-O'Reilly-Fasching *UFA*-Eichel-Reinhart Foligno-Girgensons-Bailey Deslauriers-Larsson-Gionta (Probably not what Larsson wants) Trade: Tyler Ennis, Bought out likely: Matt Moulson That's a healthy top six. We can see it improved, but I like the looks of it IMO. Bailey has some raw raw tools. I was at the Providence Bruins game on Sunday and he skates well, but he still has to be much more consistent. He has all the tools to be a quality forward. Definitely excited to see him play against Winnipeg. A big heavy team.

Skaters: O'Reilly, Eichel, Reinhart, Larsson, Kane, Girgensons, Ristolainen, Pysyk. And Lehner.

Buffalo became the 8th Canadian market correcto?
-
I put 10-10.9 for both. I think that's where his value is. He's still a great individual offensive talent, though I'm not sure he's going to come to Buffalo.

No thanks. The Rags can keep that terrible contract.

Is this for sure?

Very well said, and thought out. I would agree that the difference between Laine and Puljujarvi is really subtext on what you prefer/need/want. Laine has the better shot, and more of a power forward role. Puljujarvi has the skating that just draws you in. His hands are very very sound. If I'm looking at #4, I would take Tkachuk over Nylander, but it's only with a sparse difference. I also would look at Chychrun, Sergachev, and Juolevi at #4 very hard based on determining factors for the scouting/front office. Either way the Sabres will draft someone who helps fill a need and picks the stagnancy of the offense up. Totally forgot Dubois in my #4 analysis. Good call!

I'm good with having Fasching take his place if he exceeds in the AHL during a stint. Not that McGinn is a bad player, but we've seen what can happen going down the re-sign phase. Matty Ice, is a quality human being, but his skating is just starting to fall off a cliff. Maybe it's the playing time, the inability to stick with set line mates, but he looks lost half the time. He's not a 4th line forward for sure, he's too skilled for that. All I'm intimating is that a William Carrier or Fasching could easily come in. Carrier has been stellar in recent weeks/months.
