  1. I would take Brock Nelson over Strome any day.
  2. Ennis, is shocking. What a scrub.
  3. Pierre LeBrun‏Verified account @PierreVLeBrun 3m3 minutes ago More Scandella, Dumba and E. Staal among the unprotected for the Wild; Brodin was protected
  4. Elliotte Friedman‏Verified account @FriedgeHNIC 34s34 seconds agoMore FLA protects Reimer in goal. NYI only team to protect 5D -- Boychuk, Hamonic, Leddy, Pelech, Pulock Elliotte Friedman‏Verified account @FriedgeHNIC 10m10 minutes agoMore One name that is coming out as unprotected: DET G Petr Mrazek. With Marc-Andre Fleury going to LV, that's an interesting one. Darren Dreger‏Verified account @DarrenDreger 6m6 minutes agoMore Available Oilers: Pouliot, Pakarinen, Fayle and Brossoit. Pierre LeBrun‏Verified account @PierreVLeBrun 46s46 seconds agoMore JT Brown, Cedric Paquette, Jake Dotchin, Jason Garrison among those left unprotected by Tampa Bay
  5. That is flipping great! They for sure will be taking Dumba who got exposed. I'd be all about adding a top four potential 22 year old!
  6. Reilly Smith, Jon Marchessault, Jason Demers, James Reimer.
  7. McCabe - Ristolainen Beaulieu - Antipin Gorges - Bogosian We'll see how it looks further based on the draft and further moves, but Beaulieu was an unexpected treat!
  8. Or Bogosian is left unprotected and not selected.
  9. Why protect overrated mediocrity.
  10. Very solid move. I'm happy with it, for a third, sign me up!
  11. Brendan Warren and a 5th round pick. Clears up a hurdle for them on their roster. See Vecchioni, 2nd overall (insert name) and a few others on the fringe.
  12. To me this is not just a trade that would change the mentality of the locker room, it would change it. It would take an abnormal amount of effort to restock with his ridiculous cap hit. He's truly a fantastic player in his own right, but it makes no sense to trade McCabe, Reinhart, Nylander and a top 10 pick for someone who's had several off ice incidents coming home in the off season and would tear this team to pieces.
  13. I would say they're adjusting on the fly. They've committed too many dollars to stay at home defensemen for sure. It was pick one: Staal or Girardi.
  14. Unless they're taking back salary, and biting 20%, I say no thanks. Patrick Kane is a fabulous player, but he's had nothing but bad run in's in Buffalo. So let's bring him home. Pass. The assets and re-working of the roster it would take is a tragedy if you add Kane.
  15. This would be a great idea :)
  16. He's great in his own zone, he pushes the puck with ease. He's what we were hoping Gorges would be for the second pair when we acquired him once upon a time. Very high hockey IQ.
  17. I for one am a fan of Kempe, but I wouldn't want to move a pick on top of Kane to make a deal happen regardless.
  18. I take Hischier over him, but that's just me. I like Gabe Vilardi as much as Patrick.
  19. Kylington was also undersized and scrawny. Liljegren is built like a near NHL'er. To me there's a clear difference. The closest parallel would be Chychrun, where he slid due to illness vs injury and questions about his hockey sense. I'm still taking him at 8.
  20. The Queefs. They can be mailed a swift boot in the ***. Over and out. Dubas has been linked to Colorado, which would be a great fit for him.
  21. Estephan is a player like Grant where he might crack a roster, but it's on the bubble. Maybe I'm wrong and he turns out to be a relative surprise.
  22. All I can say about Lambert is meh. His coaching style was atrocious.
  23. Well if Timmins is there of course, I think he's gone by 32, but who knows. Same with Jokiharju. I know the knock on Salo is his skating, but I like the other elements of his game. Fair enough. It's really a wish wash from mid tier 1st round all the way into the mid 2nd round on scouting rankings.
