  1. My bad. I don't typically pay attention to the Leafs, so fair play. Sorry for the mistake on my part.
  2. I'd love a 1st, and Rasmus Sandin in the midst of the deal. I would personally rather get Kerfoot than Andersen. Everyone here knows Andersen will not re-sign with Buffalo.
  3. I agree, if you can get Sandin, and Robertson and a prospect, I'd do that in a heartbeat. Then flip Andersen.
  4. This is the first time he's playing with players that he is familiar with in Asplund and Thompson. I wonder what type of confidence would be if that was a line all year. Familiarity, comfortability and just less pressure of having to figure out guys on the fly. Casey, has a solid shot, and he's not a terrible creator, it's nice to see him putting in solid effort on the forecheck for me. If he can just work on those things, we're looking at someone who can be something, versus an out and out bust. I'm still not a fan of Thompson, but it is what it is. Asplund is crafty, creative and does the little things that you need. More Asplund, less Okposo.
  5. Exactly, I will take a decent middle tier player and a 1st for an expiring.
  6. I see more drive to the net and a bit more effort, but you're right, the production is completely lacking. However, if he can get his confidence and positivity back, that's where I was going with it. Tough group! 😄
  7. Definitely looks a lot more impressive. I think he's let his players play as well. Looking at Mittelstadt, Skinner, Montour and Dahlin in particular, and you see them having less stress on their play style. If you could explain HDCF for me, I don't know that stat type.
  8. Fine by me, I'd rather have a prospect like Jesse Ylonen over Lehkonen/Kulak. Draft picks are fine though.
  9. Take Montour while he's somewhat producing.
  10. I always thought Kotalik was an underrated Buffalo Sabre. He definitely had his moments like quite a few players of his era. I'm not a fan of Connelly, though he had skill for days.
  11. I completely agree, at this point if they were to take a contract back longer than 2 years I'd definitely do it.
  12. Of course it can be done. I will say that they are playing more like a cohesive team, than I have personally seen in almost a decade. Outside of the last team they finished at .500, they are looking like they are getting better. Montour, actually is looking like our best defensemen. That speaks volumes. Year two of Kruger, looks immensely better than year one.
  13. I like our chances here. Also, Dahlin needs to punk O'Dowd. Scum!
  14. Wow, right back to Washington, that's weird, but okay. Let's go!
  15. They also brought in Irwin for the PK and they had our least responsible defensive defender on the ice in Brandon Montour. It was a ***** show.
  16. On numerous times, you would see the Washington forward enter the center scoring lane and walk in on goal. The team defense is terrible. This is completely on Steve Smith. Krueger relies on his specialty coaches to coach up that side of the game. If you recall that was pretty much brought up in his introductory press conference. That being said, Krueger needs to wake up, and fix this now, or else his head will be on the chopping block come game 28.
  17. The team was sloppy all over the ice. I get that Ullmark didn't get much time with the team, but he would have been better than Hutton. I liked the play of Reider and Hall, they definitely shined in a game full of meh. The hit on Staal was bush league.
  18. I like the vibe in his press conference's / presser's and I'm liking his fit on the roster. While I'm not sure what all the issues are with his personality, I like him in Buffalo as of yet.
  19. He's a John Madden type guy to me. Plays a two way game, can kill a penalty and draw down the middle. He's a fine fourth line option. I liked him in College.
  20. Hm, no bueno for Crawford. I hope it's nothing too serious.
  21. Nope, Originally born in Rochester, lived in Webster, NY until 2016, and relocated. Tired of snow. I've bled Sabres B&G since 1984. Thompson, has the tools and a decent shot. He's just shown nothing to me, that he'll be consistent or has the mental edge on that side. In addition, he's starting to seem very injury prone. I'm hoping for a Stafford like inconsistent forward, but I've completely blanked out the entire O'Reilly trade outside of possibly Ryan Johnson.
  22. 2021 1st round selection, Casey Mittelstadt, Mattias Samuelsson, conditional 2023 2nd if he re-signs.
  23. Or a major bust, which is more likely.
