  1. I actually would love to at least interview Richardson.
  2. Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet, Just not Tocchet,
  3. Hell yes, please!
  4. Trash: #5, Merzlikins and Chinakhov, is okay....but it's not close to enough. Pretenders, raise your hand up. Seeya!
  5. They sold low, because Botterill is an idiot. Anyone with half a brain would have seen that Berglund and Sobotka weren't quality. He was a worse gm at analyzing talent than Jim Benning is.
  6. Because trading and signing the "right veterans" hasn't worked. The rebuild that started in 2011, was sabotaged and never properly started. Do I think we have the right management group to facilitate something that can progress the right way, no. This team is so top heavy, it's not even funny. Every veteran on this roster, outside of Eichel, Reinhart, Olofsson (all 25 or younger) are the top end. The rest is under 22, or offers no suggestion that they're going to turn the corner. Tage Thompson is at best a third line scrappy, inconsistent scorer, who is injury prone. Or, is someone we're trying to move out (Skinner, Okposo, Eakin, etc). The problem starts, and ends with Terry and Kim Pegula, and until the scourge of their fingers aren't in every decision, then this team goes nowhere. I'm pessimistic sure, but I'm also realistic, I don't see 5 moves that make this team better, I see 10-12 that are needed. No scouting department, no competent hockey operations, owners with their hands in operations who have NO CLUE on how to build a team. It's toxic, and gutting this, and redoing things, is the way to go. Buffalo isn't an attractive market to free agents, we're a laughing stock to other franchises. I guess, I should just stop posting. Sorry, in advance.
  7. At the same time, it's time to move on. We're going no where at the helm. Move him. This situation becomes uglier as we go on. If Eichel is still here, and say Reinhart and Ristolainen are traded, do you see Jack remaining quiet?
  8. Even if you settle for Turcotte, 8th overall, and a mix of the following: Fagemo/Grans/Bjornfot/Parikh/Mikey Anderson/Scott Walker/Jarret Anderson Dolan/Simontaival and so on, there's so much more appeal. In any of that if you don't get Byfield.
  9. Krebs, and Tuch are easy assets to love and get behind. I'm just missing the rest of the deal, 2 firsts, 2 2nds, and Cormier? Any deal from Los Angeles and potentially even Anaheim has the potentiality to be better. Riley Smith is coming off of a dreadful year, and he's hitting 30. Who is passing him the puck. Even if you settle for Turcotte, 8th overall, Fagemo/Grans/Bjornfot/Parikh/Mikey Anderson/Scott Walker, Jarret Anderson Dolan/Simontaival and so on, there's so much more appeal. In any of that if you don't get Byfield.
  10. So we deal with a toxic situation, that affects the rest of the youth coming up. This is going to be a young team. Jack, get the ***** out of Buffalo. I understand and I get the sentiment that it's stale here. But, maximize the best return you can, that isn't Ryan ***** O'Reilly type value. Thanks Botts, and move on. I love the talent, but his attitude is crap. Anyone who wants to trade for Laine, get out of here too.
  11. Eichel's NMC doesn't kick in in until 2022-23. He can be moved anywhere this offseason.
  12. By the time we're relevant Fleury is gone. He's a UFA after next season. I don't understand the fascination with trading for a 37 year old goalie. Yes, he's a great netminder, I don't doubt it. Where is the realization, that our team defense is a barn fire, we have no center depth trading Eichel, and this makes me puke. Yes, it moves him out West, but just ***** no. Krebs, Tuch are appealing, but there's nothing else. A late 1st and a 2nd, for Jack Eichel. Just no. Barf.
  13. I don't understand Vegas as a trade partner. Meh.
  14. I just don't understand, unless you're getting Krebs, Glass, Tuch and Theodore, what else do they have. They are stacked to the cap, their picks are late, and their young assets aren't that great. Cormier, is okay and I like Dorofeyev, but I still don't see the Russian factor being suddenly open minded here.
  15. Dach, Boqvist, Reichel and 1-10, Seabrook LTIR contract and conditional 2nd (If Ristolainen Is retained) for Eichel and Ristolainen.
  16. This is worst trade partner available after Toronto (but there is a snowballs chance in hell that happens). If Jones isn't interested in re-signing in Columbus he surely is not re-signing in Buffalo. Laine, to me is a player who needs to be insulated by a veteran roster for him to be successful. He also has such a off putting attitude and his trade value isn't all that hot. Texier, Chinakhov, are quality pieces but they are so far down the list in terms of overall value in comparison to other trade partners. Domi, has no value with his injury issues and inconsistencies. Pending UFA's over 27 (see Merzlikins, Korpisalo and Jenner, yeah no thanks.). I'm not paying Jones 10+ million. If you want his type of defensemen we can go after Dumba. Jones, Merzlikins, Texier and 1-5 is a meh proposition. I would rather go after Dach and 1-11 than this scrap package.
  17. Except he's 27 with one year remaining on his contract before he can leave in free agency. I don't trust many pending free agents who would want to stay here long term at the moment.
  18. This is possible. I suppose. Remove the negative players who are upset at being stuck in a vacuum of losing for too long and allow your team to just move on.
  19. I don't understand acquiring a mid to late 20's goalie. First, this team is not going to be good enough. I'm not trading Reinhart for a goalie as an asset. The first is fine. I'd rather sign a stop gap and work on integrating UPL into the long term plans. If we trade Reinhart, Eichel and Ristolainen, we're going to be WORSE, not better.
  20. Anyone who says Columbus is an attractive trade partner, is an imbecile.
  21. Good and it should be. He's better than any center rostered on: Anaheim, Columbus, Minnesota, Dallas, Montreal, Vegas, Calgary. You can suggest that he's possibly better than Zibanejad (NYR) and Kopitar (LAK) due to his age. So it's easy to see, regardless of his injuries, he's a trade a way from being a top 5 NHL center. He's also signed, unlike Reinhart, and cannot protest where he goes.
  22. This team is incompetent on all fronts.
  23. Ullmark, is the main priority. Then other things. I guess, I'm in the minority. I'd rather sign someone as a one year stopgap otherwise, and develop and let UPL come up in his own way. If we don't re-sign Ullmark, a one year only would be my approach. This team, when not "if" we trade Eichel, will be terrible. STOP THE CYCLE OF PATCHWORK GM B/S, that this franchise has been on for 11 years.
  24. Columbus isn't a factor because the majority of their assets for futures aren't very equitable. So to me, it's just a load of rubbish. Also, why does Gibson make any sense for an Anaheim team looking to go all in to pursue Eichel. It makes absolutely ZERO sense for Anaheim. Shrugs. One team will overpay when weighing against their competitors, it only takes one. Columbus is THE WORST trade partner. PERIOD.
