  1. My thoughts exactly, they also demoted Nightengale, who was in charge of amateur scouting last year. So, things are "trending up".
  2. We passed on this for Jack Quinn. šŸ™„ I'm okay with acquiring him as the center of an Eichel trade, with Khustnutdinov would be huge prospect additions. Aside from other pieces.
  3. Well, considering, I never thought this would be coming, it's a step in the right direction. Analytics was promised when Kevyn Adams was brought on board. The more experience that is brought in, the more I start to gain hope. *Fingers Crossed*
  4. Puke. Not really a great fit at all. Plus why are we trading him in conference for a lesser bid than what the Rags can offer. No thanks. Without Wahlstrom this is an EASY no.
  5. Minnesota, Chicago, Las Vegas, Anaheim, Los Angeles. Definitely, get this done for one of these trade partners. The Rangers seem to be penny pinching. They can take a swift kick in the nuts.
  6. I feel for his family, and am sorry for their loss. 24, is definitely too young!
  7. This the McNabb trade and Lehner trades were far worse.
  8. I like that Granato, gives a crap what the fans think and care about. He admitted to the pressure under the current circumstance and his players will come in and thrive under this pressure. So, I am all in on Granato. The puppet, muppet, gave his schtick. Kevyn Adams, infuriates me.
  9. Why would he leave Montreal to do that? That seems like a lesser destination. Unless he's feeling the chances of him taking the job are greater than 50%, which who knows with this team and our ownership group.
  10. I think it just really depends on the type of prospect offer. I don't really love the center depth in the NYR system. They have more credible wing depth and defensive depth. While we need help everywhere. The difference for me in Lafreniere v Zegras v Byfield v Turcotte and so on, is that the center headliner is more appealing from those other teams. Aside from that, it doesn't make a ton of difference. I would rather see him on the West Coast, as we won't hear about him as much with East Coast Media.
  11. Then ***** the Rangers. Peace!
  12. I'm asking Lafreniere, Miller, Chytil 2 1sts and a mid tier prospect: Henricksson/Robertson. Take it or leave it. If we're trading in conference, it has to hurt them.
  13. It's better than some of the offers.
  14. Next order of business.
  15. At this time, Granato made the most sense, and for once, the Sabres didn't overthink this, they did some due diligence to listen to other ideas, but they went with someone that showed progress with a younger team.
  16. Thank god! Deleted my Tocchet barrage, as we didn't hire that goof.
  17. 27 minutes ago, dudacek said: Columbus: Eichel Philadelphia: Seth Jones Buffalo: 5 OA, 13 OA, Konecny, Merzlikins, Patrick This is actually the best of all worlds. A youngster who can take his time, Konecny is a wing, and in this proposal two picks and a goalie that in this deal is fine! I love this!
  18. Go Habs, for Shea Weber. One of my favorite long time non Sabres.
  19. Fair point, I deleted my useless post! šŸ™‚
  20. Getting Boldy and Rossi, Dumba as cap dump ( but a experienced RHD) insert "Calen Addison", plus a first, Iā€™m not hanging up if Iā€™m Adams. Dumba would be an adequate asset to take on, but I'd prefer Addison at this stage.
  21. I would, that's a bit extreme! Dreger, is more reliable than Eklund or Kypreos.
  22. His systems are underwhelming and he's an average at best NHL Head Coach. I don't have any specific insights, but he coached Arizona to mediocre results. He reminds me of Bylsma, all over again. Pass, we've seen that show before.
  23. Preference: 1: Zegras 2: Byfield 3: Turcotte 4: Krebs 5: Jarvis 6: Dach Lower tier (additions:) Zary Anderson Dolan Glass Pelletier
  24. He's been a recurring guest for about 2 years or more. I just look at everything that Tocchet has done, and said, he underachieved in Tampa Bay, with a Steven Stamkos in his 20's, he did nothing that promising in Arizona, though his teams were at least on the bubble of the playoffs, and I don't want a retread coach. He might be a very nice guy, he seems like it in his interviews. But, meh. I'd rather go with Richardson, give Granato the reigns full time, or if we have to go the retread coaching route, at least give it to someone who has had success in Boudreau.
