I seriously don't understand Fletcher at all. Talk about covering up cracks with character flaw and one dimensional offense. He's so delusional.

Please dear god, no Lambert!
-
Good, they didn't overthink it and took the right player. Thank god!
-
Reach, but an okay pick. I just do not want anything to do with Connor Geekie. Please god, no!

Savoie, Kasper or Jiricek and I'm content for sure. Her husband used to run the Coyotes, I believe. Not sure that Gauthier was guaranteed for top 5. I think he was comfortably in the top 7.

I would take Bedard, though it's really close. I think there is the risk of the contract that Michkov is currently on.
-
Definitely agree with that, but he's got some time to turn it around lol.
-
What are the Islanders doing. Romanov and #98 for #13. Romanov does not have that kind of value.
-
I agree on Kuemper, but he's also a major injury concern to giving long term dollars.

What does giving up a 28th pick in a stacked draft do. I just think you use it and draft a longer term fixture. I like Patrick Kane, and I think he'd be an amazing get; however I'm focused on the development. Patrick Kane, speaks Tim Murray or Botterill all over again. Speeding up the process; when as we saw, sticking to the guideline actually worked. Kane isn't even a 25 year old Evander Kane. He's an amazing veteran that helps a team like the Rangers get over the hump. He's a terrible fit for the Sabres. That's like a pig ***** farmer buying a Maserati and deciding to use it as his house. I might be far off base, and yes I want to end the playoff drought. But using assets unwisely needs to stop.

Pass. If he was walking into UFA and wanted to come to Buffalo; great. However, he'll cost premium assets. No interest in overpaying for an over 33 year old player. Regardless of how amazing he is. He doesn't put this team over.
-
Awesome to see Cozens succeed. He's played a very unselfish game this year, and I saw a lot of growth especially from March 1st to the end of the season. He's a stellar player going forward.
-
I also think this is the healthiest that Okposo has been in his time in Buffalo. Just look at his skating. He's picked up a stride this year, that he had lost previously. He's hustling every play, and he's got some of his longer strides from his NYI days.
-
Yes, you watch him with the tenacity on the puck, but with it entering the zone, and hounding it on the d-zone. He's certainly embraced this culture, and he's become born again. I've loved watching him this season. He works well with our players, and he's class.

Arttu Ruotsalainen Would Like to Remain A Member of the Buffalo Sabres

Good luck R2. Wish you nothing but success in Europe! -
He's played some on the right side with Dahlin hasn't he at times? If they send down Bryson and we have to stomach more of Butcher I might hurl. A tall boy left side of Dahlin (6'3"), Power (6'5") and Samuelsson (6'4") is beautiful. Now if we can just get guys to push Jokiharju down the right side pairings. Cough....Nemec! Though he'll be gone before we ultimately pick 8th. lmao.

I see Johnson as needing to sign; and you can let Portillo go back. Goalies always take longer; and Portillo to me is almost more pivotal to Michigan next year than Power is. As Michigan was 7-1-1 w/out Power during his run in the Olympics. For me development of the goalies is much more important than getting them to sign on the line; this second!
-
I put to wait until next season and extend him for 3M or so for 2 seasons. He's been awesome for this team.

Meh, close the thread.

Stupid TNT Wednesday games. I had to settle for highlights. Dahlin, just continues to strum along. I love this team so much more than last year. It's just fun to see a group of guys with no expectations putting up solid wins. Just keep growing together. ***** another top 10 pick. I'd rather have a team that gets close, and has guys pulling closer to their potential.

I just feel like he's been surpassed at this point. He's also started to build up the "injury bug" vibe. I don't dislike the player, I just feel like he's not ahead of Cozens or Krebs. His game really isn't suited to a shut down role. I think he's going to potentially be passed again depending on the talent brought in via the draft and UFA.

Mittelstadt is the one for me to move. He just doesn't have the game speed to keep up with his skill. He reminds me of the situation that Sam Steel is in, but a touch younger.
-
Another great thing to see, he's usually always smiling. Unlike some former franchise faces!

Personally, I didn't see much in this, but it's not a terrible idea. Just doesn't make much sense on the time line. Bailey fell off hard this year.
