  1. Okay, well I was being lenient on Moulson, Ennis, and mainly Myers.
  2. Please trade or waive the following: McCormick, Stafford, Stewart, Hodgson, Foligno, Meszaros, Strachan, Benoit. Listen to offers on: Neuvirth, Enroth, Pysyk. That is all.
  3. He's a train wreck waiting to happen, but it's a different reaction than having settled for Schwartz I guess. Definitely a drastically different voice in the room that previously acknowledged.
  4. Olas Zem Goose Girgenzouns.
  5. There really are examples of this every year where guys are voted in as starters who are more likely reserves. It is what it is. I love it personally, though it is funny that a guy of Zemgus' pedigree would be the choice. Weird things happen all the time in sports. It's good for the atypical NHL viewer to get a look at someone they might not familiarize themselves with. Zemgus is taking it in stride as he always does. Though I stated just above that I loved that he's getting voted in, I can definitely appreciate that point of view.
  6. I think Calvin Pickard is a heck of a goalie. Not to the talent level per say of Jake Allen or even Bernier, but I wouldn't mind trying to acquire him.
  7. Murray and the front office has to decide at least in the interim who to go with from Neuvirth or Enroth, that I agree with. If you're trading Ennis/Myers then you have to encompass the right return. I would think that it's more likely the expiring contracts of Stafford or Stewart. However, Stewart's play has basically plummeted his value and he is likely not retained. He'll walk easily. Stafford, as I have mentioned in previous posts is pointless on this roster. I don't view him as needed for leadership with Moulson, Gionta, Gorges and eventually Ennis on the present roster. Depending on what a team feels they can use him in, I would ship him in a heartbeat. Cya, buh bye.
  8. Honestly, I think its the veterans who've pushed them forward. Also complete collapses of opponents. They're competing most games, which is something.
  9. That's great. Mine is that snow should be gone by Monday when NY hits 52-55 in Rochester. Otherwise, yeah....going through the motions.
  10. Seeya Stewart. Your production will be "missed". Seeing that it's been on a milk carton all season, byeeeeeeeeeeee.
  11. Back to reality. Edmonton finally won a game. Looking to get back to tanking, one viewing of "Fury" at a time.
  12. I have really soured on Hodgson, at one time he was one of if not my favorite prospects going back to his days in Vancouver. I thought he was an absolute steal for Kassian. Now almost two plus seasons later, with a contract extension he's lost and in limbo. At this point I would take a Dvorak, Lessio, Karlsson, Dalphin grouping for him. He needs a change of scenery more than other guys.
  13. It's the owner firing their entire front office. That's what they need to do. They need a complete long overdue fundamental shift in their front office. MacTavish makes Feaster look closer to Holland/Murray. Terrible. Interesting...
  14. Back: Not sure I was missed. However, holy hell while I was on vacation did the Sabres pull off some nice wins. They're still within reach of the worst record, even after that 7 in 9 winning streak. Heh.
  15. Okay, Buffalo needs to stop playing San Jose! :P
  16. Girgensons, Ennis, Moulson, Gorges, Myers, and Deslauriers are whom I listed from those above.
  17. #26 Matt Moulson ā€œAā€-#28 Zemgus Girgensons-#63 Tyler Ennis #17 Torrey Mitchell-#65 Bryan Flynn-#12 Brian Gionta ā€œCā€ #82 Marcus Foligno-#8 Cody McCormick-#80 Chris Stewart #44 Nicolas Deslauriers-#21 Drew Stafford-#19 Cody Hodgson Talk about horrible lines.
  18. Nolan is fishing without line or lures. Stafford at center is laughable! :wallbash:
  19. Just crazy production.
  20. Either works for me overall, but I prefer McDavid. The game breaking ability and creativity in his offensive play will make this team exciting. Just my opinion. I really like Eichel and he would be a great fit either way. It sort of reminds me of a Kane versus Toews debate. Kane is the more exciting offensive dynamo versus Toews who is solid in all phases and is the "leader" you need and want to lead your team forward. Reinhart may fill the second one with some more seasoning. Either way this team needs as much offensive fire power as they can muster. Really if you look at the games versus Chicago, Montreal and others we have the ability to compete for the full 60 minutes. They are progressing.
  21. Daley is producing more at this point. Just to clarify on my original statement.
  22. One thing about Myers offense, he is putting a lot of pucks on net without much return for your investment. That is at least somewhat encouraging? Myers in Dallas would be a blessing for a team that doesn't have much of a pulse back there aside from Trevor Daley.
  23. I agree. I was waiting to see Detroit pull it out and was like well, they are competing. But, at the end of the day Carolina getting their forwards back should propel them forward just slightly enough. We'll truly see what happens come closer to the trade deadline to know for sure.

    Zadorov?

He's really forcing the issue. I understand and he has a right to be upset about having to go back to Junior. Can he play in the AHL yet? There has to be a way to not lose him to the KHL. God, sometimes this stuff enfuriates me. Not ready for the NHL yet, but definitely too good for Junior.
  25. He looked really solid against Chicago's farm club offensively speaking. He could still use some time on the PK and other formats of the game, but I was overly impressed with him and William Carrier. Armia is also making a lot of progress. I would hold him down for the majority of the season.
