  1. Ugh god, I hope not.
  2. Just on Shope and Bulldog, it was stated based on Dallas making the playoffs it becomes a second, and if there are playoff wins for Enroth.
  3. Anyone that Murray takes a call on that there is dialogue that improves the team now and the future.
  4. I can understand in the sense that Kane is injured. Either Armia or Lemieux most likely.
  5. To be honest, this sentimentality just bugs the ####ing sh#t out of me. I loved Lemieux being drafted, and I liked Armia's upside, but knowing that a player at 23 won't work in a market is asinine. Go drink a beer and chill the #### out. It is a big trade, and that's all we can talk about. Prospects are prospects. They're great to follow and grow up with, but this teams current roster is pitiful. I am a "Tankist", but it's not as if Kane is but 2-2 1/2 years older than Armia. There are schmucks in every locker room.
  6. Is there a link with Cheveldayoff's presser?
  7. Stafford, Myers, Next up: Enroth, Stewart, Benoit, Meszaros ? (Who knows...an injury in the next few weeks.)
  8. This is idiotic. He has speed, physicality and is twice or three times more explosive than Stewart.
  9. There's still lots of depth in the system. We have to head forward and that's what happens.
  10. Very interesting IMO. Says about what this team will be going forward in some cases. Size grit etcetera.
  11. My avatar :P I was the one who brought it here :)
  12. Exactly, there's ups and downs. When you're splitting hairs over goals in the Dub or OHL, then come back to me. Lemeiux's biggest intangible is his attitude and work ethic, that's what I will miss. The stats can say what they will. Armia, had his hands and the ability to make passes. So did Ville Leino in 2007-2009 (? - end year) for Philadelphia. You can slant it all you want about this and that. Murray did his job and that's changing the culture. You have to make risky moves to succeed in a fickle business.
  13. Great post. I definitely agree that this is the biggest deal since Mogilny.
  14. Goodbye. Seeyah. I'm sure this sucks for guys like Gorges, Moulson and Gionta, but w/e. Stafford being gone is gravy.
  15. Alright, so Stafford is gone, he was leaving this offseason. This really breaks down to Armia and Lemeiux. So we'll have to see what Kane brings to the table. Over the last 24 month's he's had two major injuries a handful of healthy scratches and countless other issues with Jets management. Myers in his career has gone up and down and really if you break it down, Bogosian is an interesting addition. Armia was really starting to come around, and getting more out of his play. Overall if Kane can get adjusted, this is a big plus. You cannot create skill, scoring ability and Kane is a game breaker when he's healthy and on. Furthermore, he's out the rest of the year, pretty much concludes the tank. I trust Tim Murray, so we'll sack up and move on. Bogosian, Ristolainen and Zadorov.
  16. It was awesome last night. I wore my Mogilny jersey and just enjoyed the game and atmosphere. By far the second best experience to date.
  17. Hutchinson has been solid and Pavelec is having a quiet rebounding year. They don't need a goalie at all. Hellebuyck and Comrie are in their system as well. Unless they are looking to dump Pavelec when he's hot, I don't see it.
  18. In Montreal for the game tonight as it is my birthday. First time to the Bell. I'm excited. I don't even care about the game, the arena experience and getting drunk will be amazing!
  19. Wrong thread, voided that message. Stewart and Stafford are the obvious moving pieces. I still hope something bigger happens than the UFA chips.
  20. Heh. Interesting concept.
  21. No offense but when you're carrying guys like Mitchell and Flynn on the second line and Stewart, Hodgson and Stafford are your third, you know that you're A) under producing and B) Do not have enough quality forwards on the roster. This team needs to move some guys just to change things up.
  22. Wow, that was so freshly done. Lol, great stuff Potato.
  23. Forsling had a quality WJC for Team Sweden and Clendening is a right handed defensemen that replaces/balances out Vancouver's pairings until Bieksa comes back. Clendening has put up points in the AHL for Grand Rapids but has not place on the team. Especially since Ville Pokka would be called up first.
