  1. Love everything about this statement, its downright quote worthy. Chicago was a joke for quite a while until they drafted Toews and Kane. Then sprinkling in the other areas of the team. It's life and it's time for Buffalo to do this.
  2. With as much video as you can watch, it just seems that McDavid has an extra gear. Not to fault Eichel who is more of a natural north south skater, he has more power to his shot. They're both talented and different players. They create scoring chances, see the open ice well and finish emphatically. I don't think you're disappointed in one or the other. It all depends on what you prefer. McDavid does something once or twice in a game that few can. He's so special. I went to Erie to see him play and was blown away. His speed and ability to change mid stride while creating are unparalleled.
  3. First off, what in the blue moon, are you smoking. There is no way that Don Maloney would ever bend over and take that kind of butt hurt for one player. Might they consider, 2015 1st, 3rd, and Dvorak or Lessio to move up to #1 for McDavid. Sure. But seriously, this post just continues to go in hand with nonsense fantasy hockey trade proposals.
  4. Honestly if the fans want to pay their hard earned money and cheer for them to fail for McDavid, I'm all for it. Had I had the time and $ to drive up to Buffalo, I would have been there last night. However, I had to work a double shift. LOL. It is what it is, I get the players side, but to get better we need more of Ennis and less of Kaleta. We'll find the Pat Kaleta's of the world. Between Larsson, Deslauriers, and several others in their mid 20's we have a good cast of grinders on the team already. It's the skill that this team lacks to push them over. I really loved how Grigorenko has come along with Foligno and Gionta. He's not getting the results, but he's fitting a niche that he didn't have before.
  5. Zadorov bear hugging the Yotes players. Lets us be friendz.
  6. That shot from the point by Ristolainen was so beautiful. OEL has always been impressive. Good for Moss bringing that down to their 3rd goal.
  7. Really good hockey play on that by Moulson. He's really been hot lately. I love watching Ennis play. Now if we only had Girgensons back. :/
  8. Szwarz gets goal one, of this snoozapalooza.
  9. Terrible uniforms for what is likely to be a brutal game.
  10. He's played very well this season. :D
  11. The Oilers win another game I thought they'd stink up. That guy Taylor Hall must be a pretty good player coming back off injury. Woot!
  12. Honestly the West is a cluster ###### of possibilities. The fire power that the Ducks have, the depth that the Blues have, the consistency of winning that the Kings and Hawks have. The surging leap that the Wild have made and the first time to the dance card Winnipeg Jets. Then there's the Flames and the Canucks. It's wide open and match-up's really are going too be the focus. I would say the East is a little bit more narrow with Tampa, Montreal, the NY burrows having the legit chances. There is still time for Pittsburgh to get their heads out of their @$$es but I would think it's less than likely of getting past the 2nd round. It will come down to who steps up when their team needs them most. Which goal tender steals a series. Who plays out of their minds.
  13. Familiarity, scheme, and knowing what you have in front of them. I would say Miller is superior to both in terms of his reads most of the time. Neuvirth showed to be coming on and I really hope he's targeted this offseason. If he wants to come back.
  14. That's it Arizona. Put that in the bank. Thank you Mike Smith.
  15. Vesey is a nice player, he could have a Craig Smith type career maybe a Matt Read. Nowhere near the same upside as Eichel.
  16. Last night I had a bacon wrapped bison chop, with sweet potato puree and fresh asparagus and it was purely inspirational.
  17. I'm looking to fill about 5 spots. It's a H2H Yahoo League, 16 team Dynasty league, 1 of the following positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF, OF. Two UTL, 5 SP, 2 RP, 3 P, 5 N/A Spots (Prospects), 5 Bench Spots and 3 DL spots. Scoring categories: Offence: Hits, HR, RBI's, SB, Hitting the Cycle, BA, OBP, Extra Base Hits. Pitching: W, S, ERA, WHIP, Shutouts, Strike-outs, K/9, Holds. As per Dynasty rules: You hold onto everyone if you want, or drop who you wish to re-draft that number of positions the next season. All teams have to have the team name of an active MLB roster team. If interested, inbox me your email or post it below. Looking to enjoy one league instead of infinite.
  18. Any of these others worth adding? Outside of O'Connor?
  19. Watching the highlights, they put a lot of traffic on Pekka Rinne. There's not much you can do when you're heavy in their zone. The beck re-direct was little to late for Hackett. Some nice chances on Rinne by Larsson, Hodgson, Grigorenko etc.
  20. Well that's dumb. Especially since the team could use the players size and hands right about now. Oh well, I'm not going to get to muddled down with this. Good luck with the Tea Leaves Bailey.
  21. He has them fooled. He's playing for a contract. After he signs his $4.5M-$5M per deal if he were to stay with Winnipeg watch the head scratching eyeroll performances to come in. The guy has the talent but once he gets his $$$, he checks out.
  22. Bench or waive Lindback.
  23. This made me chuckle: http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/20/why-anders-lindback-may-become-the-most-reviled-sabres-ever/?utm_network=facebook&utm_post=3513712&utm_source=FB%20-%20NHL%20on%20NBC%20Sports&utm_tags=srm%5Bhockey%2Carticle%2Cfacebook%20targeted%5D Lindback, related.
  24. Yeah, it does seem like that. Going to overtime in Boston was ridiculous. Fire Claude Julien today for that embarrassment.
