Years ago when my step daughter was little and new to me she came out of the bathroom with a puzzled look. I asked what was up and she asked “does yellow and blue make green?”....”why yes it does.” ....She was sooooo relieved.

I did? I remember saying I liked Dalton. I don’t recall saying anything about why the Sabres aren’t scoring. I also never mentioned a single thing about the “liberties” taken by anyone. The guy has been a big part of my favorite hockey team for the last three years. I won’t bottle up my enthusiasm for the young man. He deserves the game or two that he is going to get. I hope he does well and enjoys the ***** out of it.

I was very careful to NOT say or imply that he was going to make the Sabres a better team.

Because Toronto would have snatched those two up like a crackhead(ex mayor...poor guy) snatches anything that looks like a rock out of the carpet?

It seems like everyone thinks Smith is going to go full on goon. He has the infectious enthusiasm that @Weave mentioned and the toughness that fits the mold that you are looking for. Has anyone other than @inkman, @Amerks8796, and I actually even watched the dude play? He wins battles along the boards, takes a beating in front of the net and finishes his checks. He also doesn’t act like a wuss when people take liberties. Maybe they didn’t need to look any farther than Rochester to find the guy they need right now? It’s not like they just signed him to a multi year one way deal. He’ll probably get a game or two just to see what he brings. Geez.

I made overnight oats for the first time for today’s breakfast. I threw in a scoop of protein powder(chocolate). It was delicious and ridiculously easy. I think the vanilla protein and adding frozen blueberries would be da bomb. Where the hell has this been all my life? I hate living under this GD rock.

This is fantastic. I hope he does get called up! He’s not going to score goals but he can keep up and fire his team up in the process. He’s the super amped up dude that’s running up and down pumping everyone up when they’re waiting to hit the ice, every single intermission. And he’ll kick some ass too.I friggin love that guy.

If an inspection showed that the stadium had major structural deficiencies then it would be closed...period. You are right that there is no way that they could tear down and rebuild the upper decks by next season. It would take massive amounts of OT(like 2 shifts at 12 hrs if they started tomorrow) and massive amounts of $$ and would still most likely fall short. There is no way a temporary fix like this happens if there’s any plan at all for a new stadium. Will some reinforcing of the existing structural members buy some time? If it as bad as your friend thinks then we’ll see the Bills playing next season elsewhere. I’m guessing that the hype machine is attempting to drum up public support for public money. Bills Mafia, they lookin at you!

Fantastic! The wife hooked me up for Xmas. I popped my cherry on Bogano and have scoured every inch of Zeffo(making note of where I need to return later). I just landed the Mantis on Dathomir. Puzzles are fun. Story is intriguing. Combat is challenging. I find myself spending time just checking out the scenery. ????

I should have just said “better”. I don’t want folks getting their hopes up. I saw baby steps...that’s all.

This was a pretty good game. Belleville had a ten game road win streak going that was broken with 2 seconds left. Mitts took a high stick in his big ol’ head that gave us the pp for the gwg that gave us our 4-3 regulation win. Overall he looked a lot better. Moved the puck well. Found open ice. He had a shift where he got lost a little bit but they recovered. They put Porter on his wing which is a good move. He played a ton of minutes. They’re working his ass off. Also a good move.

There are a few young girls sitting in the row behind me tonight and they are friggin cracking me up. The lights dimmed and the spotlights are on ready for the teams to take the ice...”Woooo! Go Team!” “Hey do you think we’re on tv?” Now the refs take the ice..”Woooo! go refs!” Now we’ve moved on to the anthems. Since we’re playing Belleville Oh Canada comes first...”Wooh! Wait! Are we in Canada?!” ?

Well, fwiw, Mitts was the last guy off the ice from warmups.

His play has not been good but I personally shy away from using “awful” as a description only because he seems like a good kid. He tosses pucks over and acknowledges the children that have gathered at the boards to watch. Not a lot of guys in the A take the time to do that. Then you get the creepy ones like Bailey that tossed pucks and acknowledged the fans gathered if they were a group of pre teen girls. That always wigged me out....I’m willing to give Mitts a little time. Sadly he has a ways to go before he’s at the JAG level. I’m not saying he won’t get there this year but as an Amerks season ticket holder, I’m worried that he’s going to sink the ship.

I’m an old Nordiques fan...I can see the good in any loss.. or I’m more used to losing than you are..

No one that’s going to be left in the AFC is going to beat the Ravens. Not even the Pats. These chowder heads are ready to string up Brady. They’re praying he retires and the Pats pick up Newton....it’s funny...I know a lot of folks from Boston that suddenly try to steer the conversation away from football....They don’t like to admit that they have more Bills on their fantasy than Pats....

I don’t even care about this game against the Jets. ***** it. Rest everyone for the playoffs. Come out. Kick ass.
