I’ve been authorized by the USDOL to teach this stuff for the last 12 years. I renew my authorizations every four years. I instruct often. I am well trained to train. I’m not the least bit concerned that you doubt me. The best way to verify if what I’m saying is true is to schedule a qualitative respirator fit test. When they’re ready to put the isolation hood over your head ask them to switch the APR for a hospital mask. Once they squirt the noxious fumes in the hood and you start gagging and choking, then you’ll have true insight into whether I’m right or wrong. If you do that though get it on film so I can watch it. Please.

I guess it all comes down to what you’re willing to believe. If I perceive that I’m interacting with a wingnut, I’m doing so because I believe that person to have those particular traits. I choose to get my information from reputable sources who have vetted the info for accuracy. Any false or misleading info should be corrected or eliminated from the content. For example, I know for a fact due to education and years of practical application that hospital masks are very ineffective in protecting against airborne contaminates. The linker just linked it like fact though. No attempt to warn the reader that all info hasn’t been verified. Not a good look IMO. Oh I’m sure to steer clear now that I’m aware. I couldn’t read anything that blog stated as fact after I read about the hospital masks being ineffective and how that implies that this must be a sign that this thing is really bad. Well, if you’re using a hospital mask to protect YOURSELF from airborne contaminates then you are being a fool. The mask helps ME from spreading germs but it does nothing to protect YOU from from catching them. If you’re truly afraid of catching this thing from the air then you’d wear an N95 type respirator with your face properly shaved at the very least. To be truly safe you’d wear a PAPR with the proper filter cartridgne that had been tested to fit your face with a qualitative fit test. Training in how to donn and doff properly is key. TRAINING!! Anything less and your simply not protected...period. Anyone that is attempting to give thoughtful and accurate advice would have been sure to note all of that.....but they didn’t. Maybe they be just didn’t know? If not then they should just shut up and stop spreading fear because that is all they are doing.

Now that the WHO is in China, the Chinese government seems to have revised the criteria for diagnosis. I’m sure we’ve all been skeptical of China’s numbers and maybe we should still be watchful. I held a bit of skepticism for the reports of the spike in SO2 levels in Wuhan(presumably from the burning of human bodies) but this uptick in reported cases/deaths grants some credence to the idea that we’ve been misinformed as to the contagiousness of this virus and the number of people afflicted. I’m personally not worried about the virus here. I’m concerned for all the people living in the heart of the outbreak. It must be terrifying to fear the knock on the door that hauls you off to God knows where for God knows how long.

Another loss to the Checkers in consecutive nights. 5-2 this time. That drops them to 3rd place in the division. That also drops the odds that I will renew for next year. No playoffs...no way.....no ***** way!

Fallen Order was fantastic. Every nook and cranny...looking forward to a dlc or sequel. There are rumors of both. Went on to Styx:Shards of Darkness. It was free on Gold so I tried it. Never played a stealth game before but I liked it. The story was ***** up as was the goblin that you played as. The ending was bizarre but fitting. Going to give the Outer Worlds a try next. Red dead redemption looks cool. Couple of free ones coming up on Gold I haven’t played yet. I added 2tb external storage so I’m not shy about downloading free stuff.

I just noticed this somehow. When you’re balls spend all their time together they’re bound to argue a little. It’s only natural.

I welcome multiple opinions. I would love nothing more than to learn that it’s just me and not the rest of the fan base. I stopped watching hockey altogether for a few years when the Nordiques moved. It’s unbelievably difficult to lose your team. It’s too much. I don’t want to experience that again.

FTR I immensely enjoyed Amerks games up until Pegula took over operation of the arena. There is no finer thing in life than live hockey. No play by play. No jibber jabbing with anyone. I get there early and get some dinner and a beer and watch warmups. I sit front row upper deck simply for the joy of some pretty diverse and enlightening people watching. The game gets going and I’m sitting there with a cold beer and the player notes and focus. The food wasn’t five star but the variety was wide and the options inclusive. The intermissions were predictable yet fun. The past two years haven’t been fun. The music is so friggin loud before the game that I have to shout to talk to my wife in the seat next to me. Instead of hanging out and having fun, our conversation dies out and we just sit there like strangers until the game starts and they turn the ***** thing down. Who the ***** is making these idiotic choices? Have they ever lived like a regular not rich human being. Maybe you’re right. Maybe Terry is sneaking them to Buffalo. Stupid decision. Dilute your market with cheaper commodity. Buffalo ain’t Montreal, Terry! And I’m just a dumb ***** ironworker? .........also they lost 4-0 to Toronto today......??

That sucks. I remember our conversation about how hockey is in Sweden and I really caught the same vibe that we have here in Rochester. It takes a lot of winning and a big commitment from ownership to erase all the years of crap. In our case there have been so many years of crap that you have to try and build an entirely new fan base because some of the most diehard fans are simply gone or too old to get to many games. It makes me sad.

I’m may be ranting too much. I’m still pissed over my conversation with the ticket rep. Don’t tell me I don’t matter then ask for my support...

And they didn’t sell all those tickets either. Lots of comps just to get ***** in the seats for their “big name” of the night.

They also changed the way we redeem unused tickets for vouchers. You can’t just exchange at the ticket booth anymore. You have to do it through you’re account manager which you can only do on a device that can run Flash or you can’t view the seating chart to pick your seat. I have a buddy come last minute because I can’t redeem from my phone. Add in the fact that they want me to commit to renewal so early without the chance to see how a post season works out. I was really pissed when the ticket rep went on about how the Amerks were just developmental. I stopped him short to give him a history lesson on the Amerks and his only retort was “I don’t know about any of that..”...he didn’t care either....why should the fans care then?
