It’s frustrating. He has a game where he appears to see the big picture and limits his mistakes only to follow it up with a game where he falls back into the habit of trying to do too much by himself. That game vs the Monsters he tried to drive the zone by himself and ran into a wall of white sweaters just inside the blue line. He was knocked down, lost the puck and the white wall of sweaters had a nice set up for a good rush the other direction. I’m starting to convince myself that his problems are with his eyes and his head. Is he not processing fast enough? Has he relied on skill so much to this point that his IQ has atrophied? I just can’t figure out what result he expects when he drives headlong into a group with no one to draw the extra guys off.

I am mostly interested in storage for music. I'm looking at using pCloud. 10 gb free storage and I can download apps for my devices to play from the cloud. Does anyone have any experience with pCloud? Sounds utopian to have your library on the cloud ready to access from any device. Too good to be true?

I had meant to quote you originally. It’s not like they’re in danger of selling out so I’m sure you’ll have zero trouble getting enough for Friday night.

There’s a group discount with 10 or more people. Not sure how much of a discount but they also acknowledge your group on the Jumbo....please call your group the WildCards.... https://www.amerks.com/page/Group Pricing

Imagine being one of those guys out there Saturday getting their ***** crushed on the boards all night to outshoot their opponents 34-13. First two shots the Monsters have in the game are in the net, you play your nuts off to crawl back in to have the very first shot in OT blast by the kid. JC! Developmental if you ask me. This does no one any good.

...he said in the Amerks thread.
-
Then for all the gripping about how bad Donner was for the team, it will ultimately be Pegula that kills the Amerks.
-
I disagree. It doesn’t affect the money that I’ve already spent for my tickets this year but it does affect the money that I will potentially spend on tickets next year.

That UPL is in waaaaay over his head in the pros. He is going backwards. How is that helpful to anyone involved? Just look those numbers. He’s only had 2 games that were serviceable. The rest are terrible.....10 saves on 13 shots last night, 15 saves on 18 shots the previous game and 15 saves on 18 shots two games prior to that one...How long am I supposed to be patient when I’m spending hard earned money and driving 40 minutes one way to watch these games?
-
JC man...let’s look at numbers...First we’ll look at Carter Hart playing at 21 in the N then we’ll look at UPL at 20 in the A...look closely at his last two games....abysmal!
-
I have years and years of patience to wait until he’s ready. He currently is not even close. He seems to be getting worse. Why let the kid flop in the pros? Because Jbot is the worst evaluator of talent we’ve had in eons. Especially with goaltenders. No way this kid should be anywhere near the pros. I haven’t been this angry over a loss in a long time. 34 sog for the Amerks and this kid just took a dump in the crease. And I realize Linus’ first year wasn’t stellar but he never had a night with 10 saves total.
-
He has sucked since he’s been in Rochester. He’ll suck next game he plays too. He needs to go back to Cincinnati. He is years and years away from being ready.
-
Seriously ***** display of goaltending by UPL. He only faced 13 and the pipe saved his ass multiple times...that’s our next great hope in net?
-
The Monsters win the ***** game with 13 sog!!! UPL you ***** suck!
-
Going to OT ties 2-2. Amerks 34 sog....Monsters 12 sog...wtf?!
-
Seven minutes in and it’s 1-0 Monsters. UPL’s save percentage so far is zero. 2-0. Save percentage is still at zero.

He actually had the best game that I’ve seen him play. He kept the puck moving and didn’t try to do too much, well, nothing foolish at least. I’d give him another full year in the A and see what it looks like then. Separate note: Dalton Smith looked friggin good last night. Lots of good work with the puck like he might be developing some hands to some degree. I wonder how much of that comes from the confidence boost of a NHL contract?
-
Ray catches hell for that but truth be told a lot of bordertown areas say it like that. Lots of the old timers from up North say the word “column” as “colium”...with pride...I’m sure he’s proud of all his Rayisms.

Amerks blow a lead twice but win in OT last night vs the Phantoms. Our old pal Cal was on the ice in orange as was Crisco. They acknowledged him and welcomed him to the building. Cal received no mention or welcome. Chris Stewart is also on their roster although he was a scratch. Lastly, Gostisbeher was at the BCA on his conditioning stint. Didn’t play a lot but you can really see the difference in play from a guy at his level. So confident and strong with his decisions. We play the bottom of the division dwelling(51 pts)Monsters tonight. Belleville, the team we’re trying to retake the division lead from, plays the impotent Moose(48pts). Manitoba is the only team with a zero in their OTL and SOL bracket. This feels like an Amerks/Belleville matchup. Can not lose to the Monsters! Need every point we can get if we want home ice round 1.

The wording on assist 1 is all wrong. Should read “great pass acrosst ice”...I’ll let it slide though....really nice puck movement. I hope he’s able to do that in the pros.

OT: Information on Coronavirus from the Far East

I take no offense. Really. As for airborne in my trade? It’s all over the map. Most exposures come in doing maintenance type contracts. You face whatever is going on behind closed doors. Thankfully the US finally signed on to the GHS(which most other civilized nations did decades ago). All SDS info is harmonized across the planet basically. Everything I would need to know about the product is labeled in a standardized manner. If I need to know what type of PPE I would use in event of exposure I can consult the SDS or contact both the supplier and manufacturer directly. I am even presented with important info regarding environmental effects/hazards. I advise anyone in my trade to take photos of labels on tanks and such and relay that to their health care pro in the event that you contract a mysterious illness down the road. And that does happen. Guy got arsenic poisoning from the coating on a structural member he was reworking without the proper respirator filtration. Two years later he had cancer...Like I said. Lots of real life stuff at your doorstep to fear, if you’re into that sort of thing. -
Mmmmmm......flaming hot taco pie and a cold Genny Ice....oh baby...

Question 1...absolutely. That’s precisely why they use the noxious fumes in the qualitative test with iron workers and not the nicer smelling ones. They want to drive home the point of shaving everyday and maintaining that seal. I’m not sure what #2 means tbh. Oh....the middle initial? Fred -

You need a seal around the mask to protect from any airborne contaminates. Path of least resistance will lead any contaminates around the filter surface(which itself must be rated for the proper contaminate size). A hospital mask offers protection from droplets in the air but not anything airborne. All those folks evacuated from the cruise ship were wearing N95 respirators if you’d noticed. Like this one. It has a non porous surface that mates with the face and has an exhaust valve to elimante positive pressure to prevent ruining the seal). That is a basic minimum protection. You notice that the heath care workers are wearing SAPR? I actually use a scenario of a biological attack in the disaster site course to illustrate the need for that airtight seal. Without it you’d be just another carcass on the floor. We aren’t just knuckle dragging, sawdust kicking lunatics. We send people into all sort of environments that the average construction person is not involved with(included places with biological pathogens)and take the responsibility of their safety seriously. Think about how a mask seals around your face and the steps you need to take to maintain that seal if this really is the monster that some are making it out to be. Look at what the people that have proper training are wearing. I’m just trying to share real and proven information. Take my advice or not.....I’m just a dumb ***** ironworker....
