It would only take 5 minutes for my doctor to write a note verifying my strength and virility.

I'm dealing with allergies along with poison ivy on my arm. Took some Benadryl Sunday night and didn't wake up until noon Monday. So that doesn't really help on a work day.

Can I blame someone to not vote based on someone getting a dry throat when speaking? Yes I can. And it's actually a good thing that the recent poll shows it's close, even though the RCP averages still show a significant lead in electoral college votes, and a lead in most battleground states where it counts. As Bill Mahar said, we wants people to think it's close even if it's not, because we don't want people to get complacent and think they don't need to vote because it's a lock. We need to get a large turnout to also impact state level races.

Donald Trump paid the IRS a $2,500 penalty this year, an official at Trump's company said, after it was revealed that Trump's charitable foundation had violated tax laws by giving a political contribution to a campaign group connected to Florida's attorney general. The improper donation, a $25,000 gift from the Donald J. Trump Foundation, was made in 2013. At the time, Attorney General Pam Bondi was considering whether to investigate fraud allegations against Trump University. She decided not to pursue the case. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/09/01/trump-pays-irs-a-penalty-for-his-foundation-violating-rules-with-gift-to-florida-attorney-general/ Imagine the uproar if the Clinton Foundation contributed to the campaign of a public official investigating the Clintons. But because it's not Clinton it gets little attention from the media or anyone else.

One, I was answering the question about the current Republican Party regardless of who they're running against this year. Two, to call someone a horrible human is beneath contempt. Grow up.
-
What an alternative Republican could have gained from moderates they would have lost among the angry right. We could have seen a right wing nationalist run as an Independent. The Republican Party is two factions that can't agree.

I thought Monica said it curved to the left.

They provide a service. Interest and dividends to investors who provide money to them to loan and invest, since we don't have the time or knowledge to determine how to best maximize our 401Ks.

Definitely not Sanders. Schumer or another long time Democrat. http://www.npr.org/sections/itsallpolitics/2015/03/27/395787288/how-the-senate-will-choose-harry-reids-successor

Bernie would never be elected majority leader. He's not popular among the Dem Senators and only became a Dem for convienence. If the Dems take it, it will most likely be Schumer.

I'm not here to make anyone work. I just present the facts, and if you can't handle the truth, then there's nothing more I can do. Perhaps when your older, say 70, you'll have learned you can't always get what you want.

You need a drink, you're worrying way too much over semantics.

I'm sorry, am I supposed to not support a party or candidate of my choice in an election? I have no control over another party I'm not a member of.
-
Were you referring to another election? Any way you say it, Bernie still lost to Clinton in popular votes. 55.2% to 43.1% to be exact. That's a majority. Time to move on.
-
If 10 people vote, and 6 vote for A and 4 for B, then A won a majority of the votes.

I saw the transgender from South Africa won pulling away again in a women's race. Just isn't fair.
-
The majority of the people that vote.

The older candidates have a lifetime of experience to contribute. And they've seen what younger people haven't, such as the battle for women's right and the right to choose, which many younger women take for granted but could be reversed by a couple of Supreme Court replacements. They've been where we and younger people have been. If they're phsically and mentally fit, they should be able to run and serve. And in the end, the majority of the members of the political parties decide who we want to be our party's nominee.

On Netflix just finished season 1 of Jessica Jones which includes Luke Cage, and starting season 2 of Daredevil which introduced The Punisher. A gritter street-level look at Marvel characters that I'd recommend.

Boo da bum. Would have preferred he went to the Western conference.

I think you mean George HW Bush who was CIA director, not W. Are you trying to get the job as the new head of Breitbart? I'd say you passed the audition.

Bought a certified vehicle yesterday, a 2015 Grand Caravan Blacktop edition with 9k miles. All black with aluminum wheels. About as cool as a van can look. Traded in my 2006 van that I've had for 10 years that had parts of it literally taped up with duct tape and no working A/C. It will take awhile to get use to it. Now I'm going to be paranoid about people scratching it in the parking lots.

All quiet on the campaign front? Has there ever been a presidential nominee that got rid of two campaign managers? Manafort was a dead man walking as soon as Trump 3.0 made the latest hires. They're trying to distance Trump from Manafort's ties with Russian and Ukrainian politics, but it may be too late given Trump's previous pro-Putin/Russian statements.

Just watched a woman's race that had a transgender former guy from South Africa. SHe looked like a linebacker. Blew by the women at the end. Don't care about being transgender, but it doesn't seem fair to the other racers having such a physical advantage.
