  1. Democrats joined together on Sunday night to raise funds to rebuild a GOP office that was firebombed in North Carolina over the weekend. Donations quickly poured in and the campaign’s $10,000 goal was surpassed within a couple hours. In total, organizers raised $13,167 from 552 donations before closing the fund. As news of the firebombing spread, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton condemned the attack on Twitter and expressed support for its victims. "The attack on the Orange County HQ @NCGOP office is horrific and unacceptable. Very grateful that everyone is safe." The North Carolina Republican Party sent out an official response thanking her for her thoughts and prayers. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, on the other hand, referred to the perpetrators as “animals” and suggested that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party had been somehow linked to the vandalism. "Animals representing Hillary Clinton and Dems in North Carolina just firebombed our office in Orange County because we are winning @NCGOP".
  2. "The Dems"? Like it's an organized effort by "The Dems". I didn't blame The Repubs. I don't consider anyone who would do this as a real Democrat or Republican. We've seen the vitriol that Trump has created with his supporters. Just last week suggesting someone accuse Obama of sexual assault to see how it feels. Has Clinton been calling for violence or revolution like Trump and his supporters? I just posted last week the stories about armed Trump supporters outside a Democrat HQ, and noose guy. And you think this isn't a possibility.
  3. The German Reichstag fire has always been theorized as being set by the Nazis to gain support for their policies and to arrest their political opponents. It's not unprecedented, I'm just say in'.
  4. Perhaps it was a Trump supporter upset with the RNC and Republican leaders not supporting Trump. Trump does talk negatively about them at his rallies.
  5. Maybe the local Klan Republicans don't like the out of town Nazi Republicans muscling in on their turf. Of course Trump is blaming it on Clinton.
  6. At least he was in front of the headlights. Franson was chasing the taillights.
  7. Sitting Nelson is dumb. Imagine McDavid coming in on the Gorges - Franson combo.
  8. I'm not clear yet. So if I bet one unit on Edmonton and they win, what is the result?
  9. SOUTH BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - One man is taking his political discontent to a whole new level. Egbert Bickley says he is frustrated with America, which is why he has a noose on his front lawn. He says he's hoping to make a political statement...that America is falling apart. Bickley says the noose symbolizes the distress that our country is in. "We need to make America great again...get over it! It's just a political statement," he said. People in Bickley's neighborhood say the noose should not be used as a political tool, and symbolizes a dark time in our Nation's history. "He shouldn't have it out in the open like that," said one neighbor. "That's strong. That is crazy. If a black person were to walk down this street, they would look at that and think 'wow, that's crazy." http://www.wkbw.com/news/south-buffalo-man-makes-political-statement-with-noose-on-lawn
  10. A pro-Donald Trump protester has attracted attention for standing alone outside a Virginia Democratic campaign office with his gun. On Thursday, Daniel Parks stood outside a Palmyra campaign office for congressional candidate Jane Dittmar. Witnesses described him as staring directly into the office all day and turning sideways to expose his gun he was legally carrying. He was eventually joined by another protester, who was also armed. http://www.newsplex.com/content/news/Legally-armed-protester-hangs-outside-Dittmar-campaign-offices-for-hours-397039141.html But hey, it's legal, so what can go wrong?
  11. How ironic that Trump opened the door by attacking Bill and Hillary for things that happened 20-30 years ago, and now he's playing the victim because he's being called out for what he said and did more recently.
  12. Donald Trump's campaign is "pulling out of Virginia," a move that stunned staff in the battleground state, three sources with knowledge of the decision told NBC News. The decision came from Trump's headquarters in New York and was announced on a conference call late Wednesday that left some Republican Party operatives in the state blindsided. Two staffers directly involved in the GOP's efforts in Virginia confirmed the decision. The move to pull out of Virginia shows Trump is "running essentially a four state campaign," with the focus now shifting to battlegrounds critical to his chances in November: Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio, a source with knowledge of the decision told NBC News. Asked for comment, Virginia said his pulling out didn't make up for the abuse he inflicted, and it was more than just 'locker room talk'.
  13. Based on what others who have had the injury have said, I don't think he'll be back to his old self until next season. Even when he can skate there will be lingering pain which will affect his stride, and anytime it gets hit it will flare up. It will probably take an off-season of rest to get back all the way.
  14. Multiple women coming forward saying Trump kissed or groped them, and he walked in on undressed women at the Miss Universe pagent. It comflicts with his denial at the debate. Will they acknowledge them as they said we should Bill's accusers, or will they refute them as they said we shouldn't do with Bill's accusers?
  15. Bring back Kaleta for some energy and entertainment.
  16. I'm guessing it was the ghost of Jean Beliveau because we got cocky about Carey Price not playing.
  17. It puts a pall on the season if long term. I feel sick like I was punched in the gut. I know it's just a game, but why him and why us?
