Today's totals: Clinton 62,829,832, Trump 61,488,190. The lead has grown to 1,341,642.

If a vote for Trump was a vote against the establishment, then his supporters have to be disappointed that his list of potential cabinet appointments includes a number of the establishment, some of whom are neo-cons who supported the Iraq invasion. Bolton, Guliani, Sessions, Gingrich, and Palin. It's more accurate to say they just want their type of establishment figures.

Keeping track of how many times someone bet in a month is tough. Perhaps make the rule that you have to bet at least once every three games. Start with Tampa, Pitt, Calgary. Put an 'x' next to the player's name when you list everyone showing they bet. Anyone who doesn't bet once in those three games automatically loses 300 points. Then it resets for the next three games.

You said he'd push the Republicans to be more progressive. How can he do that when he's not one himself, and even has some ideas more regressive than the party.
-
Forget the 21st century, they're still coming to grips with the second half of the 20th century. And how is Trump progressive when he plans to appoint Supreme Court justices who will overturn Roe v Wade? He recently said the months old Marriage Equality decision was settled law, but the over 40 year old R v W decision isn't? How about being a climate-change denier?

When the public face of the Birther movement becomes the presumptive president-elect, says that he wants to be the president for all Americans, and then one of his first decisions is to appoint Steve Bannon as his top adviser, you should expect some push back from a skeptical public and media.

OK, I defer. I understand not changing in midstream. But I will help if you change your mind.

If you need help, I'd be willing to keep track of the bets and running totals. I'd probably do it in a spreadsheet. I do it for football pools. You could be responsible for posting the betting lines. Perhaps give everyone who's already missed betting for a week a Mulligan. If they want back in, they need to pay a 100 fine. Then going forward, if someone misses a week, they pay 100 for every game that was played that week. 3 games = paying 300. You're out when you drop below 100, the minimum you need to cover a bet.

537 voters in Florida (of those that were counted) decided the 2000 election due to the EC. Yet Gore won the national popular vote by 543,895. So we've had less make the decision.

The Pandora's box was opened when Trump was declared the presumptive winner. Now the issue is how to contain the damage.
-
Instead of kicking people out because they didn't bet, perhaps a $500 fine would be better. Sometimes people forget.

Change.org petition, now signed by more than 4.3 million people, encourages members of the Electoral College to cast their votes for Hillary Clinton when the college meets on Dec. 19. The petition argues that Donald Trump is “unfit to serve” and that “Secretary Clinton WON THE POPULAR VOTE and should be President.” “If they all vote the way their states voted, Donald Trump will win,” the petition states. “However, they can vote for Hillary Clinton if they choose. Even in states where that is not allowed, their vote would still be counted, they would simply pay a small fine – which we can be sure Clinton supporters will be glad to pay! We are calling on the Electors to ignore their states’ votes and cast their ballots for Secretary Clinton.” Where an American lives shouldn't matter. This is the only elected office that all Americans can vote for. What other event declares the 2nd place person as the winner? Count every vote, let every vote count.

A commentator this morning referred to the Trump transition team / family as similar to the House of Borgia with their infighting for power and influence. Meanwhile Clinton's popular vote lead over Trump has continued to grow, now over 1 million. Latest numbers are Clinton 62,403,469, Trump 61,242,652, a lead of 1,160,817. The people have indeed spoken.

My Hail Mary worked, the hockey gods have abandoned the Sabres. Up to 2050.

At 1450. I'm guaranteeing the hockey gods smote me and give the Sabres a win by going in big. 6 units on the Blues.

I never said Trump wasn't legally elected. I'm just point out the fact that when Trump supporters try to spike the ball and say the people have spoken or he has a mandate, it's not factually true. I agree it probably will never happen because Republicans would oppose changing the EC since they've only won the popular vote once in the past seven elections. I would propose that when there's a split between the EC and popular vote, there be a runoff election maybe one month later with only the two winners on the ballot. Then let's see who Americans vote for in a binary election, with the EC the deciding vote.

Super delegates were a moot point, she got more primary votes than Bernie. The voters decided who they preferred.

I've never seen a top Sabre pick so skinny. He actually looks like a high school kid. My first thought was he better be fast because he's going to get killed if he gets hit.

The people have spoken, and it wasn't for Trump. The latest vote totals show Clinton with 60,467,601 votes, a lead over Trump's 60,072,551. State officials are still counting millions of provisional and absentee ballots, and within two weeks, Clinton will likely have another few million votes in the bank. “We probably have about 7 million votes left to count,” said David Wasserman, an editor at Cook Political Report who is tracking turnout. “A majority of them are on the coasts, in New York, California, and Washington. She should be able to win those votes, probably 2-1.” By mid-December, when the Electoral College officially casts its ballots, Wasserman estimates that Clinton could be ahead by 2 percentage points in the popular vote. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/11/clintons-popular-vote-lead-will-grow-and-grow/507455/

I'll be visiting a loanshark by Thanksgiving. At 1250, 2 units on NJ.

Yet Clinton got more votes than Trump, so does that mean even more of the country rejected Trump's proposals? I know Republicans reject science, but math too?

There's a lack of team speed which results in not winning the dump in battle, so there's a lack of consistent offensive cycling. Kane is the only current forward that gets in quick on the opponent's D. Eichel has the speed, but also the ability to carry in and sustain control. Without him the opponent's top D can concentrate on the slower Sabres. The offensive revolves around Eichel.

I do miss the pom poms.
