Debating whether it’s worth staying up for the 3rd. 🤔
-
How do they allow a 4 on 2? 🙄
-
The Sabres soft D is being exposed on this road trip. Lots of stick checking instead of taking the body. A definite need.
-
The last two goals were directly because the D got caught watching the puck instead of covering the players near the crease.
-
What happens when the players take the ice in Belleville and realize they’re supposed to be in Laval?
-
I think it’s an excuse to save money. Other teams have their crews on the road, as does ESPN.
-
Sabres don’t have Dunlevey and Ray on the road trip. They’re doing the games by watching the tv. It’s a Pegula issue.

I’m going to DVR and avoid any references, and watch it in the morning. Can then fast forward during commercials, stoppages, and between periods. -

Thanks. I was told platelets are used for cancer patients. My sister passed from cancer in January. Small step to help others. -

Donated platelets at Red Cross, two hours with needles in both arms. But they have TVs with streaming services, so finally watched Black Widow. Set at the time of post-Civil War. Better than I thought I'd be, but felt a bit rushed. More like a James Bond movie. The Taskmaster identity was a surprise. I think her sister eventually will be the next Black Widow. -
Is it too soon to think we might actually be good?

They worked hard, got lucky Tampa missed open nets, played another backup goalie, and got 2 empty net goals. But to say they showed skill compared to the way Tampa dominated the puck control would be wrong. -

They don’t perform as skilled players, and some aren’t even on the team yet. Potential doesn’t score goals. So the important thing that requires skilled players. 🤔 -

The Sabres win when they play to the best of their ability. And even then they need some luck like when Tampa missed a lot of chances in the 2nd period. But they don’t have the skilled players to compete every night with the “good” teams. -

Sure, go to the extreme. 🙄 That’s not how the Bruins are. They draft skilled players willing to be physical, and complement them with trades and FA’s willing to do the same. -

You set your goals pretty low. “The team gets pushed around, but at least one of our players was voted the nicest”. Not even a team trophy. 🙄 -

What trophy do they award for moral victories on the ice? -

So you conveniently exclude the Bruins bigger forwards. 🤔 The current group plays small and aren’t physical. We’ve been waiting since Tyler Myers for the next big physical D. -

Did they call a penalty? No? Then it’s legal in the eyes of the refs. -

Average height doesn’t mean squat. Take out Tage and Cozens, neither of whom play a physical game, and you have mostly smaller players, especially on D. Size only matters if they use it. -

So being physical worked. 🤔 -

Really, how did the Bruins score their first goal? By being physical with the small Sabres D. The Bruins have plenty of young players. They’re just bigger and more physical. They clearly have bigger and more physical players. They how when and how to use it. Dahlin was intimidated into multiple turnovers. -

“High danger”, a new ESPN buzzword. The big Bruins blocked 20 shots. -

Should I believe you or my own lying eyes? The bigger Sabres like Tage don’t play tough, and the Bruins as a team are more physical. They have 3rd and 4th liners that use their size to take advantage of the smaller players in the O zone and keep them on the perimeter in the D zone. -

The Sabres D coughed up the puck multiple times below the goal line from either hits or trying to avoid them. It led to 2 of the goals. None of them are difference makers against a good team.
