1 seed gets to rest up and heal injuries, play a team that’s had to keep playing, and home ice advantage for two rounds. So 1 seed.

It’s tough when you dislike both of the teams playing against each other. I don’t like any of Saturday’s teams.

Just as long as Rochester doesn’t have to play Syracuse in the first round. They’re the toughest competition.

Cleveland won tonight and are tied with Rochester in points but ahead on wins. They play again in Toronto tomorrow.

The only teams I can root for are Florida, Tampa, Rangers, Washington, Nashville, LA, and Colorado. I really don’t want any Canadian team making it past round 2. Especially Toronto and Edmonton.

Disagree that he was a complete failure. It was his idea to move Tage to center which allowed him to prosper. He gave Dahlin the free reign to make the most of his abilities. He stuck with UPL until he gained the confidence to become a legitimate starter. He got Greenway to become a solid contributor, especially on the PK. He gave Benson more chances to bloom than most 18 year olds get. It is true that the team emphasis on improving defensively seemed to adversely affect their offense which gave us such hope last season. Granato seemed to go as far as he could with this team. So time to find someone who can take them to the next level.

I’d hardly call being traded to a Stanley Cup contender “being held accountable”. He was a commodity with a friendly contract status that Colorado wanted in exchange for a top 3 D. They did him a favor.
