  1. What what are their tRPM?
  2. RIP ETID
  3. Keep posting them!
  4. Swap Savoie for Brown and you’re spot on.
  5. There’s 11 names I don’t recognize. One internet point for anyone who guesses them all.
  6. Well it looks better than some of the other ones so there’s that!
  7. A veteran of what? Clearly not the 20 year playoff drought.
  8. I try to have both depending on what the deals are, but all things considered I would prefer NYT now because I’ve gotten hooked on crosswords. I find myself disagreeing with Op/Eds from both papers with more frequency than ten years ago, but to me they are both very professional services.
  9. But you’ve been saying you know something for months now. Doesn’t the above contradict your previous points? Or are you one of the few that actually does know? I guess I’m just confused at this point.
  10. I read the WSJ and NYT daily. With the exception of the Editorials and Opinion sections, their reporting has, on any given day, 80% overlap both in content of articles and areas of reporting. Multiple times a week I’m also incorrect about which paper I’m reading because of my ideas of what NYT and WSJ provide. Maybe stay away from the hot takes and interpret the news yourself?
  11. What’s it going to take for you to admit you and your “source” are wrong? If he signs for 5 years are you going to hold firm and say a strong gust of wind came into the office and blew the contract into the shredder before it could be faxed to the league?
  12. They hate money. 4/5 top revenue producing leagues are 30+.
  13. This has been super boring
  14. I remember back in 2013-2014 when we really started to bleed original posters. We’re missing a lot of great contributors from the sites glory days. Hopefully some return in the coming months.
  15. I think the biggest thing about the 05-06 team was the amount that played together the year before on the Calder Cup team. We don’t have anything quite like that. That’s what always stuck with me about the post lockout year.
  16. Buffnill making the same joke over and over is significantly less annoying than continuously being told the deal is done when it clearly isn’t nor has been. Maybe those posters should drop it first.
  17. But so many people have said it’s done and been done. Make it make sense!
  18. Submitting a $2M+ proposal tomorrow. I’ve been asking for backend paperwork for a month. Do you think I’ve gotten anything back?
  19. Going to be tough to get Power under $9M.
  20. The only Sabres playoff game I’ve been to was his Mother’s Day hat trick. What a day that was!
  21. We might be better than Ottawa or we might not be. Sanderson, Chabot, Stutzle, and Tkachuk are all very high end. Like others have said, it should be fun duking it out with them the next decade.
  22. Looks like I’ll be maxing out at 74 games this year. Oh well. Still better than the Bills schedule.
  23. I know the team likely has that data, but I’d be very surprised if that many out of town fans buy directly from the Sabres. Maybe though. There’s a lot of people complaining about what happened last year and in years past. I grew up with seasons tickets. From the time I turned probably 10, my mom said she would never go to another Leaf or Canadiens game. Pittsburgh also used to be an issue. This just isn’t anything new.
  24. This is such a loser move that won’t do anything but make it more difficult for Sabres fans who want to support the team by purchasing from them. Opposition fans will still purchase from the secondary market at a markup like they have been for decades. Local fans waking up and deciding they want to catch a Sabres game are still going to first check the secondary market because it’s been cheaper than the team for the last decade. If you want a full barn of Sabres fans, ice a team that will create another waiting list. But even then they’ll still be in the arena in roughly the same number.
  25. Terry bought the Sabres to be able to make a better play at buying the Bills. He loves the Bills. He gets his mentions by the players and ESPN and all the love in the world. Half the Sabres fanbase hates him. Why wouldn’t he rather sell the Sabres? Not to mention the value of an NFL franchise is going to continue to grow faster than the value of an NHL franchise.
