I could be wrong but I don’t think Terry runs ***** in the energy world. He got very fortunate that someone else came up with fracking and that the land he bought ended up with natural gas on it. Then he sold the land and the rights. He’s no mogul or tycoon.

Counterpoint: The fact this franchise has let Z hang around for that long is an indictment of the franchise. The same people loving on Zemgus are the same ones telling us how big of a deal it is to lose Johan Larsson.

Zemgus should have left years ago. This team wouldn’t take a message if it slapped them across the face so I don’t think moving him moves the needle. I agree I’m ready to see him go and that he’s been mostly a waste of space for a decade.

I never understood the hate he got from some around here.

I think he’s probably just a one-dimensional player. It took him years to figure out how to play his game and succeed in the NHL. It worked for a few years. Now teams have caught on and he can’t adjust. He’s not a player with a bag of tricks. He holds the same card up his sleeve every game and teams know it.

And that issue is obviously…the fans!
