I just want to point out that there’s really nothing he’s done to not have had this opinion at this time last season. Posters were getting lambasted for saying things like this all year.

I wish more people shared this sentiment. We’re going to be ***** in a lot of ways culturally and socially, if not in even more incomprehensible ways.

Yes, and I am saying trading down in and of itself does not show a willingness to be aggressive. In fact, if nothing else happens, I’d argue it’s the complete opposite. He’s willing to sit back and let the cards land as they may.

I don’t see how trading down is being aggressive unless a second much larger move follows.

What you aren’t getting is that it’s like really hard to be a GM in the NHL. Let him get through his learning curve.

I was with you up until the last line. GMTM would have had us in the playoffs in year 5. The biggest reason why he looks so bad in hindsight is JB tore down his team entirely and set us back. I’ll die on this hill.
