Our broadcast is terrible :wallbash: If Eichel's "having words" with someone I want to see that, not the Keys to the Game -

Did somebody say Geoff Sanderson? Goal Game 5 Highlights Bonus goodness Can't wait for the Leafs to be good again, that series is problem my favorite Sabres memory. The Leafs aren't my most hated team but there isn't a team I would rather beat in the Eastern Conference Finals. -

Awesome, thanks! 23 points in 19 games, we can do it! I'd rather see a strong finish and put our faith in the lottery than to have a finish and put our faith in the lottery. Besides, we due, right?

Interference?! -
If we moved Girgs I would be hesitant to move Ennis. I think we should move one or the other but I'm strongly leaning towards Ennis.
-
I'm interested to see how they did the math for this, can you provide a source? Seems like a cool stat, though unfortunate for us.
-
I could be off-base in my GMTM assessment but I think that if he thought Kempe alone was fair value he would pull the trigger. He's not afraid to "lose deals" to get the guys he wants. I'd have no issue moving McGinn and a pick for an almost ready prospect, even if we do overpay.

I didn't realize there was another all-star game last night. Yeah but that loss set us back 65 years #neveragain I don't, only because it's an awful message to send to the team. If GMTM is that concerned about injury I think he would have moved him by now.- 523 replies

Not to mention a few extra loser points probably, not that anyone wants those anyway though.
-
Come on, you can't actually believe that! Next year's team fully healthy will be a least a handful of wins better than this year's team without any changes being made.
-
I would have to think the Devils will send out flyers to see if anyone is interested and for what cost and then they would negotiate a deal from there. I'd feel comfortable giving him three year deal maybe worth $10-12m total, worst case scenario he leaves halfway through his contract. But I think he would hold up like Jagr has. After that contract he can bounce around like he has as well.
-
Yeah, that's how I remember him too. Not to mention the guy was incredibly nice, to me at least. Met the '02-'03 Thrashers once at whatever the old bowling alley in NT was before it shut down. Got the whole teams signature on a Thrashers jersey now, Snyder, Kovalchuk and Heatley included.
-
I don't remember anyone who didn't love Kovalchuk before he left for the KHL. It's fine if you dislike him for that reason, but he's not some huge teammate that everyone hates. With his style of play I see no reason why he couldn't have 2-3 more 30 goal seasons even if this year was an albatross.
-
With Kovalchuk threatening to back out of another contract and NJ seemingly wanting nothing to do with him, would anyone throw a second at them? Kovalchuk has certainly taken a step this season, but he could certainly fit into Jack's RW* for a few years. From what I was reading yesterday he could come in without approval from all of the GMs. He'll be 33 at the start of next season. *Too bad he plays LW**, not sure why I thought otherwise **Checked to see if he was right handed and just played the opposite wing and site I checked had him at RW. He's a righty regardless

I saw this the other day and thought there was no reason not to make those changes. Especially if you said that the smaller equipment was both lighter and safer. I used to be a huge goalie guy because of the athletic, quick saves that used to be so prevalent in hockey. Goalies are so boring to watch most games now that I've become completely indifferent to what used to be my favorite position. Luckily Lehner is bringing back some of the fun, but I think he would benefit from smaller pads in the same way Lundqvist (I think) said he would, his play would stand out as being superior because of his skills and not numbers. I hit quote on the wrong post, but can't find the one I meant to about nets so I'll put the comment here--Someone a while back mentioned slightly reducing the circumference of the posts and I think that would benefit a lot. I think they could probably shave off a 1/4 inch of both sides, which doesn't sound like much but could contribute to a few more goals a years without really altering the net much. If only there was a way we could "lower the mound" to see results quickly.

I had every intention of watching the game. In fact I watched the pregame all the way up until 10:30 and then ended up turning it off to grab some food and said I would turn it back on once the scoring alerts started coming in. Well, they never came and I didn't watch a single minute. Sounds like I made a good choice, though I probably could have gone to bed earlier had I watched it...- 415 replies

If Buffalo doesn't pick first I'd rather Toronto or Montreal get the #1. Montreal because it makes me happy when they have a bunch of Americans instead of Quebecois and Toronto because watching the '99 Conference Finals outside as a little kid is one of my favorite memories and I'd like them to be good again so we can kick their again and crush their hopes and dreams.

http://www2.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/lines/19/chicago-blackhawksThe Blackhawks second line is arguably the best scoring line in hockey. Kane alone makes their second line average 28 points.

The first time I heard tertiary I felt as if my whole life changed. There's something about that word that is just so satisfying to me.

Neither are the 'nucks fans on reddit. Not approving would probably be the understatement of the century based off of what I've read.
