I’ve thought he’s looked pretty decent all season for the most part. Keyword: Decent. Definitely should be skating over some of our D this year.

This team seems to take more blatant offsides than any other Sabres team in recent memory.

Looking pretty good at it so far. He killed some a few games back too.

He can criticize, it just would make him a hypocrite.

Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. You can be a point per game player and still not hustle or still mope and complain when things don’t go your way. You can be a great hockey player with a ***** attitude, and that’s what Jack is. But if you have a ***** attitude and don’t carry yourself well, it doesn’t put you in a position to criticize. Jack can’t yell at somebody to hustle (which a normal captain would) because he doesn’t hustle.

Do you think the way Jack’s playing puts him in any position to criticize? I certainly don’t. He’s one of the biggest culprits of what’s wrong with this team. None of that is made up, unless you just haven’t been watching.

Jack is in no position to criticize right now, which makes him poor captain material.

Was definitely surprised to see Okposo square up and even more surprised to see he travelled with the team. Looked pretty scary knowing his history. Considering he’s got a wife and I believe kids, he’s gotta big considering calling it a career. Head injuries are scary, especially the more you learn about them. Any word on whether he flew back or if they bussed/put him on a train to come home? Pretty sure flying it’s good for head injuries.

At least he has far fewer conspiracies to deal with these days I’d like to see Sheary swapped with Smith or E-Rod, but at least SOB is down the depth chart.

We’ve lost a lot of good contributors over the years. I knew XBenedict left, I hadn’t realized Flagg stopped posting. Was he not around the beginning of the season? Is Nero on the board anymore? As someone who primarily reads the board (and has much longer than account activation) the more solid contributors the better, it’s always a shame to lose them.

What ever happened to 26cornerblitz? I feel like this board could desperately use some of his high quality GDT to bring some good back into the conversation. And, although I’m probably remembering it wrong, I feel like the team was better when he was around.

Are we positive he isn’t one of the posters on here who is adamantly against anayltics?

He’s always played a soft game though. If he’s that hurt he might as well just call it a season and maybe the boys will rally, but there’s no way his current attitude is good for the room.

If Eichel had half the drive of E-Rod he would be the second best player in the league. I’m tired of seeing him lollygag up and down the ice and have a visable “woe is me” attitude. He’s not a leader, he’s a selfish player.

This team flat out sucks. Zero effort, zero heart. Eichel soured on the season weeks ago, he should be stripped of the C. Those who disagree have never played on a team with a real captain. It’s no fault of their own, but it’s the only logical conclusion as to how they could support him as captain.
