I liked Casey a lot today. But I thought he out skated his line the whole game. Casey was all over the ice and made a lot happen but Vesey looked sloppy when Casey tried to make it happen in his direction.

Vesey looked bad today, but I didn’t watch the first. Didn’t notice Erod too much.

Just because someone is bad doesn’t mean they cannot contribute in any way at any given time. Everyone here has seen him make them before. His contributions are inconsistent and unremarkable, but he makes them.

The narrative is that Sobotka does not and cannot contribute in a meaningful way.

Casey looks pretty quick

It’s pretty empty and quiet. Especially for a Friday night with this start.

4-3 good guys. Buffalo tries to blow it in the third, but Ullmark bails us out. 2/4 on the peeper.

Housley is a top three all time greatest American born players and was a stud in Buffalo. I can understand voting for Lafontaine as third, since I did that, but I don’t see how Housley isn’t the fourth best player of all time. A lot of people didn’t like him because he was “soft.” The ol’ “hit ‘em with your purse, Housley!” Its probably reflected here as well.

Best: Miro Satan staying well after his time slot was done to play bubble hockey with every kid in line during the Sabres fan fest. I try not to keep bad memories. Been thinking about this for ten minutes now and I’ve got nothing. I know I’m disappointed, but nothing stands out.

This is going to be soooooooo ***** awesome. It’s going to be an amazing tool for coaches of all levels. I can’t wait to see.

Vesey hasn’t been any sort of bad, but he’s been completely invisible. I think part of that is a new team with a new system and an inexperience center, but I think that’s also more or less who Jimmy Vesey is. He’ll score you 15-20 goals, but when he’s not scoring, he’s invisible. He isn’t a liability defensively, but he’s not a standout; he’s isn’t a black hole on offense, but he’s not a standout either. I think if everyone had that expectation of him they would like him a lot more. He’s the kind of guy that makes you say “I forgot that guy was on the team” when he scores because there’s nothing remarkable about him.

Honest question: don’t women go to the doctors at much higher rates than men? Would this not contribute to at more misdiagnoses? Do women have higher rates of early detection of cancer or higher rates of any detection whatsoever? Not sure if anyone has those answer, but I’m curious if so.
