  1. You Lee Harvey are a madman! I want to party with you Cowboy!
  2. Let's not consider the perfect shot Couture made. It doesn't help the narrative. That he was able to walk in uncontested also hurts some of the other narratives. All these guys are the best in the world at this game. That shot was perfect and is maybe a 2 in 10 to pull off. I Don t fault Lehner on that one. I tip my hat to Logan and move on.
  3. In Rochester yes. Both need a taste of NA before they are in Buffalo.
  4. No more evidence needed to move Kane off Jack’s line. Two point blank ops that he can’t handle.
  5. Jack got rocked.
  6. Nice stick by Samson
  7. When he should shoot due a lack of a lane to pass, he passes. Ugh.
  8. Housley is in over his head. Wake up!
  9. Losing faith in Dr. Phil. Kane and Okposo on the #1 Pp?
  10. Winnipeg. And last year.
  11. But Risto doesn't have the injury excuse. Steeper hill.
  12. It's the perception. Jack leads in toi. Whoever he plays with is getting max toi. To move Kane to a third line, behind ROR, would be perceived as a demotion by most looking at the situation. Perception is reality. I think it is the right move but how do the Larrsons and others who do the shyte jobs perceive a loss of toi to a guy who is doing what he is asked? Tough call for Dr. Phil.
  13. As a coach, I think it is hard for Housley to seem to be demoting the one guy who is doing what he asks and is putting forth max effort. It is a catch 22 for him. I agree that they are a bad combo, but Kane is hustling and giving max effort.
  14. Should fit right in here.
  15. I was entertained until the point where the lead seemed insurmountable at 3-0. The system relies on support, and when a player makes a gaffe the support should be there to take off the pressure. What I see is the player making the gaffe trying to immediately redeem himself instead of letting the support make a play and in kind supporting the player now engaged. Growing pains. Also why do we have so much trouble handling the puck at the point? Two or three sustained possesions negated by mishandling the pass at the point.
  16. I know your not singling memout, but there is playmaking and there is ignoring wide open shooting ops. He needs to be more selfish. Then make plays.
  17. More likely the other way around. It is almost like he feels guilty about scoring and looks to get others on the board. I like your version better.
  18. Switched to geico from sf. No complaints. The app is actually very handy. Filed a claim from a parking lot by phone.
  19. Sam gets some wingers. Ok and girgs.
  20. One uses the tools they have. Skating isn't his strong suit. But last night his anticipation, positioning and sense were central to creating three NZ turnovers and one in their end. the one where he knocked the puck out the air and gave a touch pass to Bailey to regain the zone when the Wings were barreling out was a beauty. He is what he is and on certain nights he dazzles you, but only if you are really paying attention.
  21. They also have a 7 game homestand early in the season to drum up enthusiasm. That is big now. Maybe a 7 game road swing east evens things out.
  22. ROR muuged. If you call the first one there is no retaliation.
  23. But we are winning. That should count for aomething.:)
