  1. I'm hoping Johnson is the #2 answer. It would be nice to have a solid backup/occasional starter while we look for our stud goalie.
  2. Good analysis. As in other years, a bad loss is likely going to haunt us (Jags this year). I honestly think the Jets are better than us, so I give us less of a chance than you do for those two games unfortunately, especially the road game. We've laid some major turds in the Meadowlands over the years.
  3. Robin was talking to himself for a long time. I was waiting to see how long it could go :w00t:
  4. I agree, but as a backup and occasional injury fill in, he may be able to do that job into the future if needed.
  5. Man, I love Granderson. He has really been the heart and soul of the Mets this year. Last year, not so much....
  6. That's why I don't want to get too hopeful. Tough run of 3 division games that are vitally important. The Bills haven't fared well in that scenario in quite a long time.
  7. I agree. I think it all comes down to how much we're jumping the shark at this point. I kinda want a main character to die, but I can't choose one. I like them all, especially Glenn.
  8. This injury to Lehner may be a blessing in disguise. Johnson has been (mostly) good as a fill in. If Lehner eventually comes back strong, we could have a solid 1-2 punch. If not, we may have the 2, and occasional 1 goalie, figured out.
  9. Hope so. It'd be nice (imo) to get a line or two set.
  10. Well I wish they would have stopped it then :( If nothing else, this series is gonna be damn close unfortunately. I have to work tomorrow, damn it! Interesting to hear that the Royals tanked to get where they are. Several top 3 picks on the roster. Another example that hopefully bodes well for our Sabres.
  11. Love Tucker's hair. It'd be interesting to wear that around today and see what people's reactions would be. It's reminiscent of the Ponch from CHiPs hairstyle. I loved that show as a youngster :w00t:
  12. I still think we gave up too much in the Lehner and Kane/Bogo trades, but it is what it is at this point. It's also tough to judge until we have a good post-tank sample size of results from all 3 of them, which we definitely do not have as of yet.
  13. Thanks for the Mets hate. It's worked really well for your Nationals and in the playoffs so far. Keep it up!
  14. The All-Star Game voting hasn't changed, right? If not, we'll likely see him there no matter what his stats look like
  15. Well some of the escapes have already jumped the shark for me, so I'm ready to add Glenn and Rick's current situations to that list. I think Glenn could possibly get under the dumpster and/or he may be able to cover himself in walker guts to survive.
  16. Let's go Mets! Get it to Familia and win this 4-3 like the Sabres tonight
  17. I'm not feeling the Bills at all. Is it too early to give up on them? I'm getting that all too familiar feeling (deja vu) and I don't like it. This team is underachieving yet again.
  18. I have a feeling that Glenn is going to miraculously survive. He's been in some pretty impossible situations before and made it out. My wife is on board with all the blood and guts were the other guy's. I don't want to believe it because I think they need to add the fear of death to anyone at anytime back into the show, but my prediction is Glenn somehow survives.
  19. Thanks, but I prefer "informed". Maybe I'm naive, but I'm not going to support things that are ripping me off. I'm actually very laid back, but I have principles I try to live by that I believe in strongly.
  20. IP proxies are wrong to me, as well as illegal, so I don't feel like I should be lectured by you on what hockey subscription I use. My opposition to the NHL and the Blue Jackets is personal. What the City of Columbus, the Blue Jackets, the NHL, and the corporate powers (Nationwide especially) has done to the local taxpayers is criminal. I don't have the time to get into in now, but everyone makes money off a failing franchise except for the taxpayers who bear the burden of ensuring a profit for others. I don't buy anything from the NHL or the Blue Jackets. I buy tickets secondhand if I go to a game, so at least I'm not directly supporting them. The tickets have already been sold afterall. Website if anyone wants to read about an especially outrageous fleecing of taxpayers by a league/team/city: http://www.fieldofschemes.com/category/nhl/columbus-blue-jackets/
  21. At least the misery is over by 1:00 today instead of just starting.
  22. He was within 5 yards of completing a screen to McCoy. :w00t:
  23. Every week. Bills under perform and refs make horrible calls. It's unwatchable at this point. It's certainly not entertaining.
