That excludes Bailey. Now, these are the first 6 guys, including Lemieux who are still in the OHL. Most that were drafted in 2014 that were in the OHL at the time have moved on to the NHL and/or the AHL. This is the apples to apples comparison you've been ranting about. Same age, same league, same experience, same draft. #1 is Michael Dal Colle drafted #5 overall (NYI) #2 is Brandan Perlini drafted #12 overall (ARI) #3 is Josh Ho-Sang drafted #28 overall (NYI) #4 is Brendan Lemieux drafted #31 overall (BUF, now WPG) #5 is Ryan MacInnis drafted #43 overall (ARI) #6 is Eric Cornel drafted #44 overall (BUF) A few things that stick out to me: I'd take Lemieux, MacInnis, Ho-Sang, Cornel, Dal Colle, and Perlini in that order. Arizona out tanked us to this point easily. The Islanders suck. It's a close call between Cornel and Ho-Sang for me. Cornel is getting better, Ho-Sang is declining and he's had issues. We gave up a hell of a prospect on a trade that looks more and more dubious as time goes on. Cornel could be a gem, but will Tim keep him around?

I'd be in the vast minority I'm sure, but all defenseless head shots should be illegal. None of this gray area . Head shots are not needed as part of the game. It'd probably help open up offense somewhat too. 5 game suspension for first and keep escalating the punishment for any additional occurrences by that player. They totally eliminated the bench clearing brawls. Why not this? It's only people's health and wellbeing we're talking about here. No big deal.

From what I've read the whole Winnipeg team is amped up for this. If Kane and Bogo are indeed going to be all out in this one, they'll be far from the only players on the ice to be that way.

This is a huge game for him, Bogo, and thus should be for the whole team. I agree that a disappointing performance today will indeed be quite telling. An exceptional performance would be quite telling as well.

I am comparing 6 players in the EXACT same situation as one another. EXACT same seasons. EXACT same league. EXACT same age frame. The first 6 players taken in that draft that have this same situation to give a spoiler. One of them is still a Sabres' prospect, so it's applicable to this thread. This is the apples to apples that you and everyone wanted and it's still not good enough nor do you even understand it.

The 2 year PPG is last year and this year so far combined. How are you ranking these guys currently? Which one are you taking over the others? Who has warning bells going off?
